Fantasy Football Podcast #7 (10/15/08)

Listen in as Anthony Stalter and I discuss the Cowboys (Romo, Roy Williams, Pacman), the injuries to Joseph Addai, Willie Parker, Reggie Bush and Kellen Winslow, Shaun Alexander’s prospects in Washington and the Tony Gonzalez situation.

(The opening and closing music is the criminally underrated Bob Marley song, “Lively Up Yourself,” which is missing from his famous Legend greatest hits compilation.)

Octagon girl gives plenty of reason to tune into MMA

Kevin Iole of YAHOO! Sports writes that MMA Octagon Girl Rachelle Lee is more than just a pretty face…I guess.

I’ll be honest – I didn’t read the article. I just saw this picture:

Rachelle Lee

I’ll take Kevin’s word for it though.

Go ahead and post your most clichéd guy response in the comments section below. I’ll start things off: She can ring my bell anytime she wants…Hi-Oh!

Ranking NFL stadiums – Giants Stadium ranks higher than Giants Stadium

SI.com ranked all 32 NFL stadiums based on affordability & food, tailgating, team quality, atmosphere and accessibility.

The top 5 were:

1. Packers
2. Steelers
3. Broncos
4. Ravens
5. Jaguars

But here’s something interesting to note:

22. Giants
29. Jets

According to these rankings, Giants Stadium is worse than Giants Stadium. And Giants Stadium is just a bit better than Giants Stadium.

I realize that “team quality” is part of the ranking system, but how can the same freaking stadium be an entire seven spots better/worse? The system is flawed!

Win $5,000 with your best Frank Caliendo impression

We at TSR love the many faces of Frank Caliendo, especially when he’s doing his spot on impression of John Madden.

TBS.com is giving everyone a chance to win $5,000 in their “Let’s Be Frank Contest.” Basically all you have to do is an impression of one of Frank’s many characters. There’s no purchase necessary and it’s easy to sign up and submit your video.

Seriously, you know you’ve been practicing your George Costanza and William Shatner in front of the mirror. Might as well try to win $5,000 while you’re at it.
