      Alicia Sacramone hearts Brady Quinn

      Remember Alicia Sacramone? She was the hottie gymnast from the 2008 Olympics who, as it turns out, sports a mean left hook.

      Anyway, in a recent interview, she confirmed that she’s dating Browns’ QB Brady Quinn.

      USA Gymnastics: I hear you’ve been attending a lot of Cleveland Browns football games lately. Can you talk about that?
      Alicia: Yes, I have become a football fan. I was always a football fan but never into it too much until now. I’m dating Brady Quinn (the quarterback for Cleveland) so I travel to Cleveland on Sunday afternoons for home games.

      USA Gymnastics: Has Brady visited you at the gym?
      Alicia: No, but he said he’s excited to come to a gymnastics meet.

      USA Gymnastics: How did you two meet?
      Alicia: We met at a charity event through a mutual friend.

      Whatever you do, Brady — don’t make her angry.

      Catfight! New Mexico women’s soccer player goes nuts during game

      Apparently New Mexico women’s soccer player Elizabeth Lambert is trying to audition for MMA, because she went bananas during a semifinials game vs. BYU on Thursday night.

      Here’s what Lambert’s official bio says:

      Gained valuable playing experience last season and will be a fixture on the back line this season … is fearless when making a challenge … has size and speed to match … will be the Lobos’ featured centerback this season.

      2008 – SOPHOMORE SEASON
      Saw action in 10 matches last season and started six … made her first career start against Denver on Aug. 22 … used her size and aggressiveness to stop the opposing attack … named to the 2008 Fall Academic All-Conference team.

      I happened to get a preview of her 2009 bio and it reads:

      2009 – JUNIOR SEASON
      Saw action in one game last year in which she attacked opponents like an unstoppable rebel force…Used her size and aggressiveness to punch an opponent in the back…made her first career takedown of an opponent by grabbing their pony tail and whipping them to the ground in an apparent attempt to see if their head would rip off…Was quoted as saying, “B*tches should know by now I play for keeps.”

      No word yet on if New Mexico asked Lambert to play defensive back for the football team after she was suspended from the soccer team.

      FOX pokes fun at Jessica Simpson’s weight during pregame show

      Somebody has to get fired for this right?

      Whether you think it’s funny or not, this crossed the line and I’m shocked FOX actually aired it. If they wanted to poke fun at the Cowboys, they didn’t have to drag Jessica Simpson’s weight into it.

      That said, the bit about Phillips is freaking hilarious. They should have stuck with that and left Simpson’s weight out of it.

      Merriman claims he did nothing wrong

      In an update to an earlier story, Shawne Merriman denies harming his “female acquaintance” Tila Tequila.

      Per ESPN…

      In a statement late Sunday, Merriman said he was worried for the safety of Tila Tequila because she appeared to be intoxicated and he didn’t want her to drive.

      Merriman also said paramedics who were called to his home in Poway, north of San Diego, reported no injuries to Tequila, best known for “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila,” which ran for two seasons on MTV.

      His attorney told the AP via phone that there are numerous eye witnesses that will corroborate Merriman’s version of events.
