Sad news about Chris Bosh

Chris Bosh has failed his physical, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be back with the Miami Heat. The situation doesn’t seem to be a threat to his overall health, but the Heat don’t want to take any chances here.

I’m not a Miami Heat fan, and frankly wasn’t a Bosh fan either as I rooted against the Big Three in Miami. But Bosh earned my respect with his inspired play and willingness to take on the role needed to win championships. He would take a lot of grief when in some games he seemed to disappear, but that was a result of the role he played. Bosh stepped up with huge shots and huge games when the Heat needed him, and they don’t win any of those championships without him.

Let’s hope regardless of what happens with his career that he’s able to manage this clotting issue for his long term health.

Let the Lamar Jackson hype begin

#10 Louisville destroyed #2 Florida State this afternoon 63-20, and quarterback Lamar Jackson put on quite a show with five touchdowns and 362 total yards. Naturally the Heisman talk dominated Twitter as many were ready to hand Jackson the trophy right now, while forgetting how Leonard Fournette seemingly had it wrapped up last season.

The other meme pumped today had many comparing Jackson to Micheal Vick, which seems like a good comparison. Vick then got into the act as well with a very gracious tweet:

These Penn State fans are jackasses

This is so embarrassing. In the wake of the horrible Jerry Sandusky scandal, these jackasses appear when Penn State decides to honor Joe Paterno despite that scandal – a decision that was already controversial enough.

Pathetic.
