Paging Mr. Bosh….come in, Mr. Bosh…

The Celtics went into Miami and beat the Heat, 112-107. Ray Allen scored 35 points, hitting 7-of-9 from 3PT, while Rondo had eight points and 16 assists. LeBron James had a near triple-double (35-10-9), but Dwyane Wade stunk up the joint (2-of-12 from the field, eight points).

The C’s are now 2-0 against the Heat this season.

Love ‘Em & Leave ‘Em: Week 10

Every week, I will highlight a few players to start and a few players to sit at each position. I’m a firm believer in starting your studs, so I won’t suggest you bench Drew Brees or Adrian Peterson because they have tough matchups – just go ahead and keep them in your lineup. Instead, I’ll focus on the borderline guys – players you’ll only start under the right circumstances.

As usual, I’ll discuss these players within the context of my weekly positional rankings, so remember — everything is relative.

Joe Flacco (#4) is hot (250+ yds and 2+ TDs in his last three games) and is facing the Falcons’ 26th-ranked pass defense…Last time we saw David Garrard (#6), he was torching the Cowboys to the tune of five TDs (four pass and one rush). The Texans are terrible against the pass, so I think Garrard is in for a big day…Shaun Hill (#10) is back under center for the Lions, and given his play earlier in the season (283 yards, 2.0 TDs in Weeks 2-5), he should be able to post nice numbers against the Bills, who have given up 2.1 pass TDs per game on the season.

2010 Fantasy Football: Week 10 Rankings

I don’t generally like to toot my own horn, but since no one is going to toot it for me…well…toot. I finished #5 in Week 9 of the FantasyPros expert accuracy contest and held my rank at #1 for the fifth straight week.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, John Paulsen (The Scores Report) currently sits atop the YTD leaderboard as the most accurate expert in our study. This now marks the fifth consecutive week that he has occupied the #1 position. To put this in perspective, Randy Moss has been a member of 3 different teams since Paulsen last trailed someone else in the standings. It’s an impressive feat and Paulsen shows no signs of letting up considering that he extended his lead in week 9. A quick glance at his positional rankings reveals just how dominant he has been thus far. Of the four key positions that factor into our overall results, Paulsen currently ranks in the top 2 for three of them: RB (#1), WR (#2) & TE (#2). It’s been a remarkable run of quality advice and we can only hope the readers at The Scores Report are taking advantage of it.

Anyway, here are my Week 10 rankings which are sure to change over the next few days, so check them often. I’ll post my defensive rankings on Thursday.
