This is the first time a Lebron James team has ever been bounced from the playoffs in the first round. After winning the title last year in the Covid bubble, Lebron, Anthony Davis and the Lakers couldn’t overcome a season of injuries to make it interesting this year.
Lebron is starting to show his age, and Davis rarely stays healthy. That said, the Lakers can easily compete again if they can find the right third star to join the party next season.
