– Santana Moss finally had a big game (9-172-1) and rewarded those owners with the balls (or the desperation) to stick with him after two bad outings.

– Laurent Robinson (2-26) and Donnie Avery (3-12) were very quiet against the Packers even though the Rams trailed most of the game. Robinson may be seriously hurt, per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. If he has an MCL injury, he could be out for a while.

– There doesn’t seem to be a clear WR1 in Minnesota as Bernard Berrian, Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin each had four catches.

– With Wes Welker out, I was expecting a big PPR game for Julian Edelman (3-20), but he didn’t deliver.

– The Pats did a nice job of taking away Roddy White (4-24), which is something they’ve been doing well all season.

– There isn’t a clear WR1 for the Titans – Justin Gage and Kenny Britt each caught four passes, but Nate Washington caught Tennessee’s only pass TD.

– The Titans’ pass defense has been very suspect this season, and Jerricho Cotchery (8-108-1) took full advantage.

– Steve Smith (7-63-1) continues to be Eli Manning’s most dependable option in the passing game.

– It seems like Kelly Washington (5-66) is taking over as the Ravens’ WR2.

– Kevin Walter (7-96-1) was excellent in his return against the Jaguars.

– Mike Sims-Walker (6-81) rewarded those fantasy owners who picked him up in PPR formats. Torry Holt (3-57) seems to be taking a back seat.

– Lee Evans (4-31) had a quiet game and Terrell Owens was shut out. It was a brutal day for the Bills’ passing game.

– Nate Burleson (9-109) had a big day for the Seahawks since the Bears were probably focused on T.J. Houshmandzadeh (4-35) after a week of trash talk.

– The Steelers had a pretty decent day running the ball, so Santonio Holmes (1-18) was a non-factor. He has his best games when the Steelers can’t run.

– Louis Murphy (2-25) just doesn’t get enough consistent play out of the quarterback to be a fantasy starter.

– Brandon Marshall (5-67-1) finally had a respectable fantasy day, but Eddie Royal (1-4) did not.

– After a huge game last week, Ted Ginn was shut out. Davone Bess (7-54) was the Miami receiver to have this week.

– Vincent Jackson (5-120) is a stud and should be in fantasy lineups every week.

– Pierre Garcon (3-64-1) isn’t going to catch a ton of passes with the way Peyton Manning spreads the ball around, but he’s a big play guy who has two TD in the last two games.

– Steve Breaston (7-94) has 12 catches for 177 yards over the last two games, and is Kurt Warner’s security blanket over the middle. He is very startable in PPR leagues.

Be sure to check back later for the TE position.
