John,
I’m in a PPR league, and I can pick 3 of the following WR’s:
S. Smith (NYG)
R. White
J. Cotchery
S. Rice
H. Ward
Hi John,
. I have J.Stewart on my roster…so he is the current pick. I also have Bradshaw and Sammy Morris on bench but they don’t look attractive to me. I can pick up Beanie Wells, Snelling, Forsett, or Betts from the waiver. What are my options both for next week and to build a little more depth into the RB position going forward?
I need to replace Turner
Also, who would you pick: Boldin or MSW
and which kicker do you like among: Kaeding, Tynes, Bironas
Which RB would you add for the long run – currently have MJD, PT & A Bradshaw – non ppr
Have room for one -
T. Choice
L. Betts
J. Forsett
R Moats
J. Snelling
W Parker
S Morris
Thanks
Im in need of some advice: I took two big hits this week losing Turner and now Bowe’s suspension. Who should I play this week (3 wr, 2 rb? My team consists of Turner, Slaton, T. Jones, P. Thomas, Roddy white, Hines, Sims walker, Miles Austin, Bowe, Antonio bryant.
I am also looking toward the long haul. Should I pick up a rb, and drop someone for (Ricky Williams, LT, Beanie, Ryan Grant or someone else?)
Do I make a trade? Help?
Picked up Atl RB Snelling as my opponent this week has Turner.
Should I play Peterson and R. Williams at RB this week? Benson (questionable), Slaton, and Snelling are my other RBs.
At WR, I can’t decide which 3 players I should play.
I have both Steve Smiths, Austin, Ochocinco, and Clark. Any advice?
Thanks JP.
Not a PPR and I have to start 3 WRs and 2 RBs. My current WRs are Welker, Vincent Jackson and Miles Austin. I have Anquan Boldin not starting at this point. My current RBs are Slayton and Brandon Jacobs. Should I trade Anquan for Jamaal Charles?
I am in a weird and good position this week due to injuries.
I have brady and wayne and celek
my options for 2 rb and 2 wr and one flex are barber, austin, nicks, snelling, betts, wells and moats. I am leaning toward barber@wash, snelling@nyg and betts @dallas and austin@wash.
your thoughts?
JP, need your help on my line-up this week,
WR = DeSean Jackson, Mike Sims-Walker or Steve Smith (NYG)? Pick one.
RB = Frank Gore, Beanie Wells or Rashard Mendenhall? Pick one.
W/R = Pick one from the above. 5 receiving yards = 1 point vs. 7 rushing yards = 1 point.
DEF = Denver, San Francisco or San Diego?
Hi John, I need some help on a trade decision I was offered this week I was offered V. Jackson for J.Addai, and M.Austin. My team is QB:Rodgers, and Schaub RB: Mojo, Mendehall, Addai, and P.Thomas WR: Welker, Marshall, Austin, Sims-Walker, and Driver. Just want your opinion if this would improve my line up heading into the playoffs soon. Thanks
One more dimension to mix. I have just picked up Mccoy who I believe will start for westbrook.
Non PPR:
Pick 1
1. Kurt Warner
2. Tony Romo
Pick 2
1. Brandon Jacobs
2. Reggie Bush
3. Joseph addai
4. Marion Barber
5. Caddie Williams
Pick 3
1. Miles Austin
2. Nate burleson
3. Sindey Rice
4. Hakeem Nicks
5. Devery Henderson
Thanx
Thanx again JP…Who should I start at RB? P.Thomas or Wells this week. And at TE Witten or grab Keller of da waivers? Lastly, DEF…Cinci or Ariza this week
Thanx again
Forgot 2 mention Non PPR, touchdown Heavy
JP I am need of your mentoring:
Non PPR-
M. Schuab or K. Warner,
P. Thomas or J. Snelling,
M. Austin, C. Johnson, A. Boldin, M. Manningham or R. Williams (Pick 2)
Thanks
Jon — That’s quite the receiving corps you have there. I’d go with Ward, White and Smith, based on the matchups.
Pradeep — I’d dump Morris for Snelling and start him while Turner is out. I like Sims-Walker more than Boldin right now just because of Q’s injuries this year.
GMC — This all depends on the health of the guys ahead of them (Portis, Turner, J. Jones). But I’d go with Moats first since he looks like the starter even with a healthy Slaton. After that, I’d probably go with Betts, Forsett and Snelling.
Nick — If you can grab Ricky Williams, do so. Any of those four players you mentioned are upgrades over Antonio Bryant and Slaton. Let me know who you end up with and I can help you with your lineup.
Matt — Nice move with Snelling. I’d start AP and Ricky. At WR, it’s tough, but I’d go with both Smiths and Austin. Ochocinco has a tough matchup with OAK.
Mark — I guess given your situation, a Boldin for Charles swap makes sense. Isn’t there anyone else you can drop?
Dave D — I don’t have any problems with your current plan. I might start McCoy over Snelling, just because we’re more familiar with McCoy.
Scorpion — I’d go with Jackson, Gore and Mendenhall. Gore is on fire and Mendenhall has a great matchup. I don’t love any of those DTs this week, but if I had to pick one, I’d go with DEN.
Evan — I think you should stand pat. You have a solid roster as it stands with lots of options. You have the right idea trying to do a 2 for 1 trade, but I think you’re giving up a bit too much in this deal.
Back in a bit to answer more questions…
Dennis — I’d go with Warner at QB since he has the better matchup. At RB, I think I’d go with Bush (great matchup) and Addai (hot), assuming his finger is okay. My third choice would be Barber. At WR, I’d go with the first three — Austin, Burleson and Rice.
DaKid — Tough call at RB as both players are in timeshares and have great matchups. I lean Wells because I think ARI will get a lead and give him a lot of work. At TE, Witten is fine, but roster Keller if you have room. At DT, I love Cincy this week.
TroyB — I like Schaub a little more than Warner this week due to his matchup with the Titans. I prefer Snelling at RB since ATL doesn’t really have any other options (assuming Turner is out). I’d go Austin and Calvin at WR.
Non-PPR; who should I start?
RB(need 2): Rice, Turner(if available), Norwood, Wells, Forsett
I am starting Rice but don’t know who has more potential for my other spot – Wells has a great matchup but anyone can or cannot do well any week in Arizona (even with the great matchup) – Forsett has to deal with the Vikings but he can catch as well and is great (similar to Rice) – and if the resiliant Turner miraculously plays I would be tempted to start him.
WR(need 3): R Moss, A Bryant, Breaston, Burleson, Walter, TO
Starting Moss even with the tough matchup – and would like to start Bryant if he plays – Breaston and Burleson could go either way any week – TO and Walter could be gaining steam (especially with a new coach in Buffalo and Edwards out) – and all of the last 4 have great matchups.
Please help. Thanks.
Thanks for the help now I need some help on who to start this week I have some tough choice. I Need 1QB 2RB 3WR(NON-ppr) My Team is QB:Rodgers, or Schaub RB: MOJO, Addai, Mendenhall, or P.Thomas WR:Welker, Driver, Marshall, Austin, or Sims-Walker. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, I am really confused this week…
Jon, I ended up getting Ryan Grant. Ricky Williams, and LT were taken, and I’m not so sure with Beanie with the possibility of Hightower knowing Beanie is on his heels. So my previous question stands:
Im in need of some advice: I took two big hits this week losing Turner and now Bowe’s suspension. Who should I play this week (3 wr, 2 rb? My team consists of Turner, Slaton, T. Jones, P. Thomas, Roddy white, Hines, Sims walker, Miles Austin, Bowe, Antonio bryant. And now Ryan Grant.
RJR — I don’t think Turner is going to play this week. I’d recommend Wells. ARI has a good chance to jump out on the Rams and would rather use Wells to drain the clock. At WR, I’d steer clear of Bryant — no telling how he’ll do with a new QB coming off of injury. To me, Burleson, Breaston and Walter are all about the same, and ahead of TO. I’d probably go with Burleson and Breaston.
Evan — Rodgers, MOJO, Mendenhall (great matchup), Welker, Driver, Austin (assuming Orton does not play for DEN, if he does play, I’d go with Marshall). You could start Vincent if you made that trade (over Austin).
DaKid — Jackson and Pierre.
Stewart — Snelling for sure (assuming Turner sits). If Benson is out, Scott would be my next choice. After that, Moreno looks like the next best.
Raj — At RB, I’d probably grab Moats and lock up the HOU running game. Snelling is the best play this week, but Betts and Forsett are close behind. I think Betts may have the best long term value since Portis is out with a concussion and still has blurry vision. It’s tough to tell how long Julius Jones will be out — Forsett is productive, especially in PPR leagues. Since you absolutely have to win this week, I’d start Snelling, Betts and Forsett in that order (unless this is a PPR league — then I’d go with Forsett first). At WR, I’d go with Nicks since the Falcons have a pretty bad pass defense.
Nick — TJ and Grant at RB. White and Hines for sure at WR. Sims-Walker and Austin is kind of a toss-up, but I’d go with Austin because he plays with the better QB. Both players have bad matchups.
Who should I start at flex
S.Smith(Car), Steve Slaton or Caddie Williams?
Thanks for the advice;
Non-PPR
Cooley is a FA in my league and I have Keller right now – Boss, Finley and Zach Miller are also FAs.
Do you think it would be worth dropping TO for Cooley (to use when he gets healthy) or do you think Boss, Finley or Miller are better TE options and drop Keller? Will Fred Davis cut into Cooley’s production when he gets back?
My WRs: R Moss, A Bryant, Breaston, Burleson, Walter, TO
Thanks again.
Who would you start this week Mendenhall, or R.Williams. Thanks
Randy — I’d go with Smith at your flex.
RJR — I’d keep starting Keller. Keep an eye on the news about Cooley and pick him up if it looks like he’s going to come back. I’d hold onto TO. Bryant is a guy you could cut.
Derk — I assume you mean Ricky Williams — if so, I’d definitely start him this week. If you’re talking Roy Williams, then Mendenhall is the better start.
k big game this week
can u pick from these players (PPR league)
Pick 2 RB:
Steven Jackson
Rashard Mendenhall
Pierre Thomas
Ryan Grant
Steve Slaton
Pick 2 WR:
Marques Colston
Wes Welker
TJ Houshmandzadeh
Mike Sims Walker
Jeremy Maclin
thanks for the help
Non-PPR league. Here’s the current lineup:(DeAngelo is playing right now, so he’s the only one who can’t change, obviously)
QB Brett Favre
WR Vincent Jackson
WR Randy Moss
RB DeAngelo Williams
RB Joseph Addai
TE Greg Olsen
W/R Miles Austin
Bench:
QB Donovan McNabb
RB Tim Hightower
WR Hakeem Nicks
WR Robert Meachem
WR Sidney Rice
TE Heath Miller
I want to start Rice cause of the matchup, but it’s hard for me to justify benching anyone else. Thoughts?
10 team ppr league. lineup includes Romo, Flacco, E. Manning, Forte, T. Jones, Justin Forsett, Moreno, Jennings, Houshmandzadeh, Mason, S. Smith(NYG), D. Keller, Shockey. Who should I start? I need 1 QB, 2RB, 2WR, a flex and TE.
Which defense this week Arizona or New England?
JP, SF is playing GB, GB’s o-line allow so many sacks, do you think SF’s D will be a better play than Denver’s D?
Without Orton, what’s Denver’s chance to beat SD?
Is Denver’s D still the best choice out of the three – SD, SF and Den.
McCoy or Hightower for RB?? Thanks!
great advice last week JP!! Ok..on to business
Here’s my roster
QB: P. Manning
WR: S.Rice
RB: T.Jones
TE: H.Miller
W/R: Housh
BN: P.Thomas, Burleson, Breaston
Should I start any of my bench over Housh? Julius is hurt so I figure they will throw quite a bit…kinda the same situation in Philly. Also, is there anyone worth picking up on the following list? And who would you drop? I’m contemplating picking up Avery or Maclin..not sure though.
Our league is 5 receiving yards = 1 point vs. 7 rushing yards = 1 point.
WR: M.Wallace, Crayton, Evans, Maclin, Collie, Garcon, Avery
RB: F.Jackson, J.Jones, Sproles, Portis, McGahee, Maroney, Choice, J.Charles,
Thanks!
2 flex spots.
B.Marshall
S.Breaston
L.Betts
Not sure if Betts is worth starting over Marshall or Breaston.
I am in a pickle. I know I spoke but things have changed.
Have 3 spots to fill:
McCoy starting vs Chicago
Barber starting vs Washington
Snelling starting vs Giants
Forsett starting vs MInn
Wells Sharing vs Stl
B Scott starting Oak
Betts starting Dal
these guys are project in same range.
bUngtUnger — I like Jackson and Mendenhall this week at RB. Pierre should have a nice week too, but doesn’t seem as dependable as Mendenhall versus the Chiefs. Welker and Colston at WR.
Bren — I’d start Rice over Austin, who has a fairly tough matchup with WAS.
Ken — I like Eli at QB, TJ and Forte at RB, Smith & Housh at WR, and Jennings at your flex. I’d go with Shockey at TE and ARI DT.
Scorpion — I think SF’s D is sure to get you a few points on sacks, and DEN has a terrible matchup, so I like SF more. If Orton doesn’t play, San Diego could be a sleeper play. W/O Orton, I’d go with SD.
Caroline — McCoy.
Texas — Your lineup looks good. I’d keep Housh in there. I wouldn’t cut Burleson or Breaston for Avery or Maclin right now.
Randy — I’d start Betts over Breaston in both PPR and non-PPR formats. He’s getting all the work in the WAS backfield and is capable.
Dave D — I’d definitely get Scott in there assuming Benson is out. I also like Snelling and Betts a little more than the other guys. My next choice would be McCoy (if Benson does play). That is quite the pickle.
Dave D — Just saw that Haynesworth is going to be out for WAS, so I’d try to work in Barber somewhere. How about Scott, Snelling and Barber?
I need to pick 2. We get points for return yardage. Sims-Walker-LT-Jacoby Jones- Eddie Royal?
For the rest of the season who would you rather have? Roy W, Cotch, Burleson – ppr
Thanks as always
Hello everyone — Reggie Bush has missed practice all week, so that’s good news for Pierre Thomas. I’d definitely get him in your lineup this week if Bush doesn’t play.
Jerry — I’d go with LT and Royal in that situation.
GMC — I like Cotchery the most of those three.
Schaub or Rodgers? and why? Thanks
I have some decent options this week truth be told.
I have Sidney Rice and Larry Fitz at WR;
Ricky Williams and Beanie Wells at RB;
Kurt Warner at QB.
I am struggling with my flex though. Currently I have Miles Austin filling the post but wondering if I should put Boldin, or Reggie Bush in his stead. PPR league by the way.
JP,
P.Thomas vs TB (Bush now out), or
T.Jones vs. NE?
(My other back is R.Mendanhall whom I am starting as well.)
Hello… I have question about running back this week. I have Michael Turner who does not look be playing & I need to choose 2 from Jason Snelling, Jamal Lewis, Justin Forsett, Carnell Williams, Darren Sproles & Ladell Betts. I also have a W/R/T position to fill with those mentioned above or one of these players–> Kellen Winslow, Pierre Garcon, Michael Crabtree or Austin Collie. I already have P. manning at QB & WR’s are H. Ward, C. Johnson & M. Colston. TE is Antonio Gates.
Thanks for your advice in advance!
Hey JP- I’m in such a bind! I’m in a standard league (QB, 2RB, RB/WR, 2WR, TE, D/ST, K).
I have Brees for QB and Miller for TE.
But my WR and RB and Flex positions are struggling. Who should I choose? Thanks for all your help!!
Possible choices are: Gore, Hightower, Sims-Walker, Ochocinco, Holmes, McCoy, Nicks, Wallace.
I also have Dan Carpenter as a kicker and Gostkowski. My gut says Gostkowski. Is that right?
Also, any good TE’s you think I could pick up this late in the season? I have Miller and Watson (neither are big scorers) and I could use a good surprise pickup.
Thanks!!
Who should I start as my WR3 Nate Burleson, Hakeem Nicks, or Braylon Edwards?
Hey!
My current dilemma:
qb: flacco vs Ryan
wr: meachem Wallace or boldin
rb: forte or wells
I’ve never not started flacco or forte but this seems like the week to do it.
Thanks!!!
kobe — I like Manningham a bit more.
Derk — Aaron Rodgers, because he’s the top fantasy quarterback.
Hugh — I’d go with Boldin in a nice matchup with STL. Austin’s matchup is tough and Bush isn’t going to play.
Zookeeper — I’d go with Pierre over TJ. He should have a big day against the Bucs with Reggie out.
Steve — Snelling and Betts look like your best bets given the matchups. I’d run Forsett out there in your flex spot.
Caroline — Gore and McCoy at RB. Ochocinco and MSM at WR, with Hightower in your flex. PIT should be able to run the ball with ease so I don’t think Holmes will have a big day. Carpenter kicked on Thursday so if you didn’t start him you have to go with Gost. If you want to list the TEs on your waiver wire, I could recommend someone.
Bryan — I think I’d go with Burleson with the slight nod over Braylon. He had a bad Week 10 and is playing his old team. SEA is also likely to throw a lot.
Mandy — I lean Ryan. Both have bad matchups. I’d run Boldin out there at WR. And I’d stick with Forte at RB, though I agree that it’s close.
Hey JP
i have mark sanchez and kurt warner at QB witch should i start
pick 3 RBs to start: deangelo williams, cedric benson, pierre thomas, beanie wells, jamal lewis, or donald brown
pick 3 WRs: derrick mason, jeremy maclin, pierre garcon, torry holt, earl bennet, or massaquoi..its a ppr league
should i start saints defense or pick up one of dese:
texans, redskins, titans, or chicago
Thnx
in a RB/WR flex pos. who do i play Nate Burleson or Jamaal Charels
PPR? I’d go with Burleson. Non-PPR? I’d go with Charles.
Alex — Warner, DeAngelo, Pierre, Beanie. Mason, Maclin, Garcon. Saints DT. This question seems familiar.
Update: Looks like Warner may sit now. Hopefully you started Sanchez. If not, can you pick someone up from you WW that is playing in the late games?
