Koren Robinson was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of drunken driving.

Robinson, 26, is in his second season with the Vikings, and he faces a potential yearlong suspension from the NFL because of past substance abuse issues.

Robinson supposedly cleaned up his act in preparation for his role as Minnesota’s #1 WR. Now it looks like he may be suspended for the season.

From a fantasy football perspective, his is a golden opportunity for Troy Williamson. By most accounts, he’s had a good preseason and is poised for a breakout year. While he would have benefited from the attention K-Rob would have attracted, he will garner some extra targets if Robinson isn’t on the field.

The Jets trade for Suggs is now void because the running back failed his physical.

“In terms of trade, Lee Suggs failed his physical,” said [head coach Eric]Mangini. “Pursuant to any trade that is now void, Derrick Strait will be coming back here today and Lee will return to the Browns. It’s just one of those things that happens. We had a process in place medically to make sure that every player we bring in can be able to perform and it’s pretty standard operating procedure.

Suggs inability to get healthy has cost him a shot at the starting job in New York. The Jets’ search for a RB will continue – will they make another run at Chris Brown?

In their quest for Curtis Martin insurance, the Jets have decided to trade for Lee Suggs.

When healthy, Suggs (6-0, 213) was productive for the Browns. He rushed for 186 yards on 26 carries and 2 scores during a win over Cincinnati on Dec. 28, 2003. But he battled numerous injuries during his tenure with the team.

As the article states, Suggs has been great when he’s healthy, but he just hasn’t been able to stay on the field. If Curtis Martin is out of the picture, Suggs is probably the most talented back on the Jets’ roster and he will have the opportunity to fight for playing time.

Fantasy-wise, this move obviously hurts C-Mart’s stock, and is yet another indicator that the team isn’t all that confident that he’ll be able to play this season.

In return, the Jets recieved third-year cornerback Derrick Strait.
