– Pierre Thomas (19 touches, 100 yards) got even more work with Mike Bell out, but Reggie Bush (12 touches, 79 yards, 2 TD) vultured a couple of pass TDs.
– Kevin Smith (23 touches, 88 yards) suffered a “gruesome” knee injury and Rotoworld is saying that his season is “unquestionably over.”
– Ray Rice (13 carries, 166 yards, TD) and Willis McGahee (12 carries, 76 yards, 2 TD) destroyed the Lions rush defense. Rice also went for 4-53 in the passing game.
– Ryan Grant (20 carries, 137 yards, 2 TD) had a very nice day running the ball. He started the scoring with a 62-yard TD run. He wasn’t even touched on the play.
– Julius Jones (11 touches, 43 yards) and Justin Forsett (13 touches, 73 yards) pretty much split the work out of the Seattle backfield. Forsett is more productive, but Jones continues to start.
– Ryan Moats (10 carries, 43 yards, TD) scored, but he also lost a fumble. Arian Foster (13 carries, 34 yards) actually received more carries.
– Jamal Charles (20 carries, 143 yards, TD) didn’t disappoint against he league’s worst rush defense. He also had 7-38 in the passing game.
– Fred Jackson (23 touches, 122 yards) and Marshawn Lynch (15 touches, 94 yards) got about a 3:2 split in touches, but Lynch was more productive. He had a 47-yard carry early in the game.
– There was talk before the game that Cedric Benson (16 carries, 96 yards) and Larry Johnson (3 carries, 4 yards) were going to share the load, but that just didn’t happen. Start Benson going forward with confidence.
– Laurence Maroney (22 carries, 94 yards) ran pretty well. Kevin Faulk (10 carries, 58 yards, TD) and Sammy Morris (6 carries, 35 yards) also got some work. It appears that Maroney continues to be the Pats’ RB1, at least for now.
– Thomas Jones (24 carries, 99 yards, 2 TD) carried the Jets’ offense.
– Chris Johnson (31 touches, 186 yards, 3 TD) continues to make a case that he should be this year’s fantasy MVP.
– Quinton Ganther (17 touches, 93 yards, 2 TD) got the start against a porous Oakland rush defense and took advantage.
