– Jerious Norwood (13 touches, 42 yards) and Jason Snelling (12 touches, 52 yards) basically split the work with Michael Turner out.
– LeSean McCoy (9 touches, 26 yards) was a big disappointment given his good matchup with the Falcons defense.
– Jonathan Stewart (26 carries, 120 yards, TD) was strong filling in for the injured DeAngelo Williams.
– Kevin Smith (18 touches, 104 yards, TD) ended up having a nice day against a good Bengals defense.
– Cedric Benson (36 carries, 110) yards is the clear RB1 in Cincy. Larry Johnson (2 carries, 4 yards) was not involved in the offense.
– Earth to Maurice Jones-Drew (24 carries, 76 yards): Where are you?
– With Steve Slaton out, Chris Brown (8 touches, 52 yards, TD) was supposed to get the start, but Ryan Moats (15 touches, 65 yards) turned this into a RBBC.
– Knowshon Moreno (21 carries, 86 yards, 2 TD) and Correll Buckhalter (12 carries, 113 yards) made mincemeat of the Chiefs rush defense.
– Sammy Morris (11 touches, 65 yards) is feeling better, so look for Laurence Maroney’s (14 touches, 49 yards) stock to come back to earth. Fred Taylor is coming back as well.
– There is no clear cut RB1 in Oakland right now. Justin Fargas (17 touches, 76 yards) and Darren McFadden (9 carries, 25 yards) split up the work.
– Pierre Thomas (6 carries, 18 yards) didn’t do much on the ground, but he went for 8-64 in the passing game (which was a surprise because Reggie Bush played). Mike Bell (16 carries, 34 yards) led the Saints in rushes but was ineffective.
– The Redskins’ running game has devolved into a RBBC. Rock Cartwright (16 touches, 70 yards), Quinton Ganther (8 carries, 46 yards) and Marcus Mason (4 touches, 10 yards) all saw significant playing time.
– Jerome Harrison (10 carries, 35 yards) didn’t do much in the running game, but he went for 7-62-2 in the passing game and out-touched Chris Jennings 17 to 6 on the day.
– Julius Jones (25 touches, 64 yards) returned to action, but a nicked up Justin Forsett (8 touches, 34 yards, TD) was still involved (and more productive).
– Frank Gore (9 carries, 25 yards) had a surprisingly quiet day, but he did go for 5-37 in the passing game.
– Brandon Jacobs (13 carries, 39 yards, TD) scored but didn’t look that great in the running game. He did, however, catch a 74-yard TD pass in the third quarter to finish with a very nice fantasy line.
– The Cowboys couldn’t get the running game going against the Giants. Marion Barber (15 carries, 36 yards) and Felix Jones (6 carries, 6 yards) were both ineffective.
