So distraught over being released last week by the Patriots, punter Danny Baugher allegedly took it out on his 54-year old father by getting absolutely hammered and then punching his old man in the face.
According to the police report, a spat between father and son inside a vehicle escalated to the point where Danny Baugher punched Erle in the face.
Officer Timothy Kane, responding to a 911 report of two men fighting, said Danny Baugher had “bloodshot glassy eyes, slurred and thick-tongued speech, as well as the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath.”
Couple this incident with the case of the Northern Colorado backup punter who stabbed his teammate in the leg just so he could start, and you could easily claim that punters have now become the most dangerous people known to man.
