Alex Rodriguez’s wife, Cynthia, wore a shirt with the words, “F**k you” to the Yankees-A’s game yesterday, igniting a bit of a firestorm according to the NY Post.
“I mean this kid was right in back of Cynthia – his nose must have been about 4 inches away from the words ‘F- – – you.’ “
According to the article, she wasn’t even kicked out of the game, despite a team policy that prohibits any banners or signs that are not in “good taste”.
While I think it’s wrong for kids to have to be subjected to profanity at what should be a harmless baseball game, Deadspin.com has a point in insinuating it’s not like “F**k you” has never been shouted at Yankee Stadium. The bigger question is what the hell was she thinking? First and foremost, she had her kid on her lap and “F**k you” printed on the back of her shirt and secondly, you’re married to a celebrity, so why wear it? Tell me what point you’re trying to make while wearing something like that. Come on lady, you’re a freaking idiot.
