Every week, I highlight a few players that you should target in waivers. I use the ESPN league data when filtering players, so the only players eligible for discussion here are those that are available on the waiver wire in at least 50% of ESPN’s leagues. I’ll list each player’s percentage-owned after their name so you have an idea of how available they are in leagues around the country. I’ll always try to mention a few players that are available in 90% of leagues for those of you in 12-team leagues or leagues with big rosters. I’ll rank them in the order I’d pick them up in a league with a high-performance, PPR scoring system.

Please note that these rankings are for total value through the end of the year. Players with particularly good matchups this week are in bold.

Alex Smith (17.0)
Of this group, I’d still take Smith first despite a bad outing against a suspect Bears secondary. He has a great upcoming schedule and has a few good options in the passing game in Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree.
Vince Young (6.6)
Young has been very solid of late, and with the Texans and Cardinals up next, he has a chance to post decent fantasy numbers.
Mark Sanchez (46.4)
The rookie has been pretty good over the last three weeks, but with the Pats and Panthers up next, that may not last.
Jason Campbell (19.2)
Matthew Stafford (5.8)
Marc Bulger (3.7)
Josh Freeman (3.4)
Chad Henne (5.2)

This was a big week for RB injuries as Michael Turner, Julius Jones, Brian Westbrook and Ronnie Brown are all likely to miss time. If Beanie Wells (64.0) is on your waiver wire, he’s worth a pickup. The same goes for Darren McFadden (58.2) who will likely get more work in upcoming weeks.

Ryan Moats (48.3)
In Week 9, Moats out-touched Steve Slaton 19 to nine, so I’m assuming he’s the lead back for the time being. The lead RB in Houston has considerable value, so I’d put him slightly ahead of the other guys on this list.
Jamaal Charles (36.3)
Charles rushed for 103 yards and a TD against a very bad Oakland rush defense. He has more long term value than the rest of the guys on this list because he seems to be the team’s starter as long as he’s healthy. Be warned that he has a very bad matchup this week against the Steelers, but things get easier down the stretch.
Ladell Betts (16.9)
Betts was excellent (114 yards, TD) against a pretty good Broncos rush defense. He should be productive as long as Portis is out, and it looks like he’ll be out for at least another week.
Justin Forsett (1.4)
Julius Jones apparently does NOT have a broken rib, just a bruise causing bleeding in his lungs. The Seahawks are optimistic about a quick recovery, but this doesn’t bode well for Week 11 and he might be out even longer. Forsett was great in his stead but a tough matchup this week versus the Vikings limits his upside.
Jason Snelling (0.3)
Michael Turner has a high ankle sprain but the team is optimistic that he will be back soon. Recovery from high ankle sprains could take 2-3 weeks up to 6 months, but given the team’s tenor, I’m betting on the former. Snelling is capable, but didn’t look great against a very suspect Panthers rush defense. He’s most valuable to owners desperate for a short-term fill in.
Justin Fargas (16.8)
Sammy Morris (35.3)
Laurence Maroney has been pretty good holding down the fort, so there’s no telling how much work the Pats will give Morris when he does come back. He was slated to be RB1 before his injury, so I can only assume he’d eventually regain that role when he returns.
Shonn Greene (41.3)
Leonard Weaver (1.1)
He’ll get some work — especially around the goal line — with Westbrook out.
Bernard Scott (0.7)
Cedric Benson says he’s going to play in Week 11, but Cincy just signed Larry Johnson (though they say he’ll be inactive this week). Benson looks likely to play, so if he’s not practicing, Scott would be worth a pickup.

Donnie Avery (44.2)
Last week, Avery was my top recommended WR pickup and he had a 4-67-2 day against the Saints. He looks like he’s healthy and he has a great schedule down the stretch, so he should definitely be rostered in 12-team leagues.
Jeremy Maclin (41.4)
It’s hard to argue with a 4.2-61-0.7 average over the last six games. He’ll have his ups and downs, but the Eagles will be more likely to abandon the run with Brian Westbrook sidelined.
Austin Collie (48.5)
Devery Henderson (51.9)
With Lance Moore out, Henderson has at least three catches in each of the last four games. With Tampa Bay up next, Henderson should have a nice week.
Pierre Garcon (31.3)
Garcon has 15 catches over the last four weeks and it doesn’t look like Anthony Gonzalez is going to make it back anytime soon.
Mike Wallace (35.2)
A disappointing 1-16 day against the Bengals broke a nice run. Wallace should post a better line against a suspect Chiefs pass defense.
Robert Meachem (10.3)
Meachem only had one catch in Week 10, but he made it count for a TD. He also had a 41-yard run.
Nate Washington (12.2)
He’s not catching a lot of passes, but he has two TD in the last three games, so Vince Young is looking his way around the goal line.
Chris Chambers (32.6)
I’m not a fan, but 6-130-2 over the last two weeks is hard to ignore. He has a few tough matchups coming up, however.
Malcom Floyd (5.0)
Davone Bess (3.8)
Brandon Gibson (0.0)
With Keenan Burton out for the season, keep an eye on Gibson, who went for 7-93 against the Saints.

Dustin Keller (53.5) is getting hot, so I’d pick him up before moving onto the list.

Todd Heap (45.6)
Kevin Boss (39.4)
Benjamin Watson (35.5)
Fred Davis (3.3)
Tony Scheffler (22.2)
Brandon Pettigrew (6.6)
Bo Scaife (8.9)
Jermichael Finley (9.4)
Donald Lee (2.7)
Marcedes Lewis (11.6)

I’d grab Matt Hasselbeck (73.2) and Matt Cassel (68.0) before moving onto this list. I’d take Smith over David Garrard (78.2) right now.

Alex Smith (16.5)
Since taking over in Week 7, Smith is averaging 230 yards and 2.0 TD per game, and has a pretty nice schedule going forward.
Mark Sanchez (44.3)
He’s not going to put up consistently good numbers, but nice matchups in Week 10 (JAX) and Week 14 (TB) make him worth rostering in deep leagues.
Vince Young (6.0)
Young has been solid if unspectacular. He’s not going to rack up a ton of passing yards, but he’s a threat to score on the ground.
Jason Campbell (20.6)
Trent Edwards (29.4)
Matthew Stafford (5.9)
Josh Freeman (0.7)
Chad Henne (4.2)

Ryan Moats (51.9), Beanie Wells (64.9), Darren McFadden (54.4) and Derrick Ward (53.1) are worth consideration. Moats seems to be the new lead back in Houston, Wells is getting consistent carries in Arizona and McFadden is on his way back in Oakland. Ward is splitting time with Carnell Williams, but is getting some work.

Jamaal Charles (37.0)
He only got nine touches, but was productive. With four nice matchups in the next six games, Charles has the potential to break out if the Chiefs give him 15-20 carries per game.
Shonn Greene (40.0)
His Week 8 touches were disappointing, but Greene is a guy who could explode if Thomas Jones were to go down.
Sammy Morris (36.2)
Reportedly slated to return in Week 11, Morris is a good bet to eat into Laurence Maroney’s workload and maybe even take over as the lead back down the stretch.
Tashard Choice (35.0)
Justin Forsett (1.5)
Looks great in limited action. When are the Seahawks going to give this kid more work?
Justin Fargas (9.3)
His upside is limited and Darren McFadden is on the way back.
Kevin Faulk (5.9)
Leonard Weaver (1.3)
Rashad Jennings (0.4)
MJD owners might want to use that free roster spot for his handcuff. Jennings had a nice TD run on Sunday.

Kevin Walter (67.0), Michael Crabtree (59.9) and Austin Collie (55.3) are all worth a pickup before moving onto this list.

Donnie Avery (45.3)
Granted, Avery has struggled this season, but he’s been fighting injuries and has had a bye week to recover. He has a great upcoming schedule (NO, ARI, SEA, CHI, TEN, ARI) so there’s a chance he can turn things around.
Jeremy Maclin (42.2)
Mike Wallace (19.2)
The rookie speedster has caught three TDs in the last four games and has at least 47 yards in the last six games.
Devery Henderson (40.8)
Lance Moore is out indefinitely with an ankle injury, so Henderson and Meachem will see increased snaps.
Pierre Garcon (33.5)
Andre Caldwell (6.0)
Caldwell could benefit from the extra snaps leftover now that Chris Henry is out for the year. In PPR leagues, he has scored in double figures five times in eight weeks.
Malcom Floyd (5.7)
Floyd is startable in Weeks 12 (KC), 13 (CLE) and 16 (TEN).
Earl Bennett (9.4)
James Jones (0.7)
Three TD in the last four weeks, but last week was the first time all season that he caught more than two passes.
Robert Meachem (5.3)
He will have his ups and downs, which makes it tough to know when to start him.
Chris Chambers (26.9)
I’m not high on Chambers, but KC is in desperate need of a threat in the passing game opposite Dwayne Bowe.
Justin Gage (16.9)
Gage seems to be Vince Young’s favorite target in the passing game.

Visanthe Shiancoe (64.4), Zach Miller (55.8), Dustin Keller (52.2) and Chris Cooley (55.0) are all decent options at TE. Cooley should be back in a few weeks and should be able to help a team during the fantasy playoffs.

Kevin Boss (41.6)
Boss has been more involved lately. He has caught eight passes over the last three weeks.
Todd Heap (45.9)
Benjamin Watson (37.1)
Tony Scheffler (24.3)
Brandon Pettigrew (5.3)
Pettigrew has caught at least three passes in four of his eight games this season. His 7-70-1 outburst in Week 9 was by far his best game of the year.
Bo Scaife (11.6)
Fred Davis (5.3)
Marcedes Lewis (14.5)

Please note that these rankings are for total value through the end of the year. Players with particularly good matchups this week are in bold.

This week, I am going to spend extra time on the TE position to try to help those Owen Daniels owners pick up the pieces.

Alex Smith (9.7)
After a better-than-expected showing against a good Colts pass defense, Smith has TEN, CHI, GB, JAX, SEA and DET over the next seven weeks. If you have two good QBs and can trade one of them away, Smith should be a solid backup.
Mark Sanchez (45.6)
He’s on bye this week, but has a tasty matchup against the Jags in Week 10.
Jason Campbell (22.0)
Despite his team’s struggles, Campbell has been pretty solid, posting 12+ fp in all but one game.
Matthew Stafford (6.0)
Vince Young (3.9)
Trent Edwards (31.1)
Chad Henne (4.9)

Laurence Maroney (65.0), Beanie Wells (71.7) and Shonn Greene (62.9) are worth owning if you have a spot.

Jamaal Charles (14.3)
He’s likely to come out of the bye week as the Chiefs’ new starter. KC’s running game is pretty anemic, but maybe he can give it some life.
Ryan Moats (0.2)
Tore it up (23 carries, 126 yards, 3 TD) after Steve Slaton was benched due to an early fumble. The coaching staff has been noncommittal about who will be the starter in Week 9. One thing’s for sure — HOU has some nice rushing matchups down the stretch.
Justin Fargas (9.4)
He’s averaging 71 rushing yards over the last three weeks. Depending on the status of Darren McFadden, this could continue after the Raiders’ bye.
Sammy Morris (39.6)
No one outside the Patriots organization really knows how bad his knee is, but if he can play, there’s a good chance he’ll be the lead back in the New England backfield.
Maurice Morris (1.0)
Keep an eye on the status of Kevin Smith this week. Morris had 14 carries when Smith was sidelined with an ankle injury on Sunday.

Hakeem Nicks (69.5), Kevin Walter (69.0), Antonio Bryant (59.9), Austin Collie (55.1) are all worthy of roster spots. Walter could really benefit with Owen Daniels absence for the rest of the season. Eddie Royal (57.9) and Patrick Crayton (57.2) have more value in leagues that reward individual return TDs.

Jeremy Maclin (36.5)
9-100-1 over the last two weeks along with a 6-142-2 day in Week 5. Donovan McNabb likes to spread the ball around, so Maclin will have his ups and downs.
Michael Crabtree (39.2)
He’s developing quickly. 11-137 over the last two weeks makes him fairly startable in PPR leagues.
Lance Moore (48.3)
He’s having a tough time getting consistent targets given the Saints’ crowded WR corps.
Devery Henderson (44.5)
Inconsistent, but he’ll go off every once in a while.
Donnie Avery (48.6)
He was dreadful (1-15) in a great matchup, and just can’t be trusted on a regular basis.
Anthony Gonzalez (50.0)
Worth stashing if you have a spot for him.
Nate Washington (13.6)
Pierre Garcon (38.2)
After a hot start, he’s tailing off. But if anything were to happen to Reggie Wayne, Garcon might benefit the most.
Malcom Floyd (1.3)
Surpassed the ever-disappointing Chris Chambers as the Chargers’ WR2, which means he’s the team’s third option in the passing game. He could have some nice days with the extra snaps.
Mike Wallace (15.2)
Inconsistent, but he’ll have some big days when the Steelers’ running game isn’t going.
Mark Clayton (14.8)
He has at least three catches in five straight games.
Andre Caldwell (7.4)
Davone Bess (1.9)
Bobby Wade (2.2)
Not a bad guy to have in PPR leagues.
Keenan Burton (0.8)
18 catches in the last four weeks. PPR guy.

If you haven’t heard, Owen Daniels is out for the year with for a torn ACL, so I’m sure there are more than a few owners scrambling for a Plan B (myself included). To that end, I’m going to rank all TEs that are available in at least 20% of fantasy leagues:

Heath Miller (78.5)
Far and away the most valuable player on this list. He’s averaging 5.7-50-0.6 through seven games.
John Carlson (72.4)
He’s getting steady targets, and has a favorable schedule down the stretch. With Matt Hasselbeck back and looking pretty good, Carlson should start posting some nice fantasy lines.
Todd Heap (39.8)
He’s averaging 3.9-40-0.3 this season and is a small but consistent part of the Ravens’ offensive attack.
Visanthe Shiancoe (49.2)
Shiancoe doesn’t catch a lot of passes, but he makes them count. He already has six TD on the season and five in the last five games.
Zach Miller (60.1)
Suffers due to JaMarcus Russell’s inconsistency, but he has 17 catches over the last four weeks and the Raiders are bound to be playing from behind for most of the seasons.
Dustin Keller (55.8)
Keller has 27 targets in the last three games, but he has struggled with his consistency this season. He does seem to be gaining the trust of Mark Sanchez.
Chris Cooley (62.4)
Cooley was cut in 28% of ESPN’s leagues, so there’s a decent chance that he’s out there on your waiver wire. If you had Daniels and your team is in pretty good shape, one option would be to pick up Cooley with the idea that he’ll be there for your stretch run. He should be out for three more weeks.
Kevin Boss (38.4)
Benjamin Watson (23.4)
Not consistent week to week, but the Pats score a lot of TD and Watson usually gets a few.
Tony Scheffler (24.9)
After a huge Week 6 (6-101-1), Scheffler was only targeted twice against the Ravens.
Fred Davis (1.7)
Chris Cooley is out for at least three more weeks, so Davis should see plenty of action during that span.
Donald Lee (5.1)
He’s getting consistent targets with or without Jermichael Finley in the lineup. Not a big threat to score, but he should give you something.
Bo Scaife (4.9)
Marcedes Lewis (21.7)
Jeff King (0.6)
Dante Rosario is out for a while, so King could see some extra work.
Sean Ryan (0.5)
Anthony Fasano (2.2)
Daniel Fells (0.4)
Spencer Havner (0.3)
He has caught three TD in the last two games, but did nothing early in the season. He’s getting on the field now that Finley is out.

According to the numbers, David Garrard and Matt Hasselbeck are the next most likely QBs to be out on the WW, so grab them first before moving on to the rest of the list.

Mark Sanchez (45.2)
Jason Campbell (28.2)
Alex Smith (0.2)
Smith looked great in relief of Shaun Hill on Sunday, and has been named the starter for the time being. Next week is a pretty tough matchup (@ IND), but after that it’s pretty smooth sailing the rest of the way.
Ryan Fitzpatrick (1.3)
He has been decent the last two weeks and has the Texans in Week 8.
Marc Bulger (2.1)
He has the Lions in Week 8, which is about the only thing he has going for him.
Kerry Collins (7.6)
Chad Henne (6.1)
Matthew Stafford (5.1)
Once Stafford gets back on the field, he will be somewhat startable in some formats, though he may be w/o Calvin Johnson for a while.
Derek Anderson (2.2)
Josh Johnson (2.1)

Beanie Wells (49.4)
It finally looks like Wells is starting to take over in Arizona. Or at least he’s getting consistent double-digit touches. Tim Hightower is still in on passing downs and much of the goal line work, but it appears that when the Cards want to actually gain some rushing yardage, they turn to Wells.
Shonn Greene (2.8)
Leon Washington is out for the year and Greene came in and destroyed the Raiders to the tune of 19 carries for 144 yards and two TD. Don’t expect him to go off like that every week, but he proved that he’s capable of producing in a time share.
Mike Bell (55.7)
He might be out there on your waiver wire, and is looking like a solid every-week play in most formats. He’s the Saints’ clear goal-line option and has 27 carries over the last two weeks. He might be the best fantasy play in the NO backfield.
Jamaal Charles (3.9)
This has more to do with Larry Johnson’s decision to bad-mouth his coach on Twitter than anything Charles has actually done to earn playing time. Todd Haley might punish LJ and give Charles a shot.
Justin Fargas (8.0)
He ran hard and was far more productive than Michael Bush.
Correll Buckhalter (47.9)
Sammy Morris (46.2)
Given the Pats’ secretive ways, there’s no telling how long Morris will be out. But Laurence Maroney wasn’t exactly awe-inspiring against a pretty suspect Bucs’ defense, so if Morris comes back soon, he’ll probably be the RB1 in New England again.
Kevin Faulk (7.6)
Justin Forsett (0.9)
He has no real value right now, but with Julius Jones struggling, the Seahawks might give him a shot to carry the load.
Michael Bush (24.0)

Hakeem Nicks (37.8)
Sure, his TD last night was on a tip ball, but that’s four scores in four games.
Austin Collie (51.7)
Has been on a tear of late and as long as Anthony Gonzalez is sidelined, he’s very startable. He may continue to see a good amount of snaps even as Gonzalez works his way back.
Lance Moore (52.3)
Michael Crabtree (35.3)
5-56 in his NFL debut isn’t bad for a guy that sat out half the season. He might be ready earlier than we thought.
Donnie Avery (49.9)
Caught a big-gainer but was otherwise quiet against the tough Colts’ secondary.
Josh Morgan (43.5)
Don’t look now, but in PPR formats, Morgan has gone for double-digits in three straight games. Alex Smith under center might help his stock.
Nate Washington (16.5)
He has some nice matchups coming off his bye week.
Jeremy Maclin (34.2)
Should see plenty of snaps with Kevin Curtis sidelined. As a rookie, he’ll have his ups and downs.
Mark Clayton (11.6)
Mohamed Massaquoi (13.6)
Looks great at times, but is going to be inconsistent in the Browns’ struggling offense.
Bobby Wade (2.6)
Not a bad guy to have in PPR formats.
Mike Wallace (5.9)
In PPR formats, he now has three double-digit fantasy efforts in seven games. As the Steelers’ WR3, he won’t be a consistent threat.
Devery Henderson (34.4)
Pierre Garcon (43.6)
James Jones (0.7)
He’s the Packers’ WR3 and has two TD in the last two weeks.
Earl Bennett (10.9)
Dennis Northcutt (3.1)
With Calvin Johnson sidelined, he’s serviceable in PPR leagues.
David Clowney (0.6)
He has some value as long as Jerricho Cotchery is sidelined.

Visanthe Shiancoe (54.9)
Didn’t score a TD this week, but Favre loves to throw to his TE around the goal line, so he’s always a threat.
Tony Scheffler (18.6)
Tore it up in Week 6, but has a couple of tough matchups in Weeks 8 and 9.
Fred Davis (0.3)
Davis takes over for Chris Cooley, who will miss the rest of the season with a broken foot. Davis is a good pass-catcher, but struggles in the blocking game. He posted 8-78-1 taking over for Cooley on Monday night.
Todd Heap (39.0)
Fred Davis (0.3)
Davis takes over for Chris Cooley, who will miss the rest of the season with a broken foot. Davis is a good pass-catcher, but struggles in the blocking game. He posted 8-78-1 taking over for Cooley on Monday night.
Benjamin Watson (25.6)
Kevin Boss (40.0)
Donald Lee (1.7)
Semi-startable with Finley out.
Jermichael Finley (30.5)
Looked great on his one catch against the Browns, but suffered a knee injury and could be out a while.
Bo Scaife (5.2)
Still an option in PPR leagues.

If Hasselbeck, Garrard or Cassel are available, I’d grab them first before moving onto the list below. These are pretty slim pickings.

Shaun Hill (16.0)
Jake Delhomme (14.0)
Derek Anderson (4.6)
Chad Henne (3.2)
Josh Johnson (1.6)
Marc Bulger (1.4)
JaMarcus Russell (4.1)
Ryan Fitzpatrick (0.0)

If Tashard Choice is still out there on your waiver wire, he’d be worth a pickup given Marion Barber’s injury and the absence of Felix Jones.

Laurence Maroney (15.1)
Sammy Morris was a hot pickup the last two weeks, but went down with a knee injury early in Sunday’s game and didn’t return. There is no word from the Pats on the injury, which isn’t too surprising given New England’s paranoid secrecy about releasing injury information. Maroney was the lead back with Morris out, rushing 16 times for 123 yards and a TD. Even though he has had durability issues in the past, he’s the top RB pickup this week as he’ll be the Pats’ RB1 with Morris out.
Correll Buckhalter (51.6)
Mike Bell (28.9)
Pierre Thomas was the Saints’ “featured” back, but it was Bell that was most often in the game during the team’s goal line snaps. That gives him value, especially in TD-heavy leagues.
Kevin Faulk (5.1)
Faulk is a good guy to have in PPR leagues since he catches so many passes on a weekly basis.
Justin Fargas (2.9)
Chris Brown (1.8)
Brown still appears to be the Texans’ goal line back.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis (0.3)
With Morris out, Green-Ellis is a Laurence Maroney injury away from being the RB1 in New England.

Hakeem Nicks (11.0)
Nicks has caught a TD in each of the last three games and should get even more snaps if Mario Manningham misses any time with a bad back. In fact, it looks as if Nicks may have already passed him.
Lance Moore (49.9)
He looked completely healthy against the Giants, posting 6-78-1 as the Saints’ clear WR2. Grab him if you can.
Sidney Rice (29.0)
Rice is turning into a pretty startable wideout. He is averaging 4.8-91-0.5 over the last four games and Brett Favre looks his way often.
Mohamed Massaquoi (16.1)
After a miserable Week 5, Massaquoi bounced back with a 5-83 day against a pretty good defense. He is the Browns WR1 going forward, for what it’s worth.
Miles Austin (36.3)
Josh Morgan (47.7)
Morgan has caught 10 passes over the last three weeks, so he’s starting to come on.
Austin Collie (15.0)
Jeremy Maclin (29.4)
Maclin crashed back to Earth after a huge Week 5.
Nate Washington (24.3)
He’s suffering from sketchy play at QB.
Mark Clayton (11.2)
He’s not going to set the world on fire, but he has caught at least three passes in each of the last four weeks.

If Heath Miller is out there, grab him — he’s on fire. Zach Miller is available in 42% of ESPN leagues, and after Sunday’s 6-139-1 performance, that’s not going to last. He’s still not a dependable week-to-week start, but he’s a good backup.

Visanthe Shiancoe (37.3)
He’s benefiting from Brett Favre’s propensity to utilize his tight end around the goal line. He has five TD on the season and four in the last three weeks.
Tony Scheffler (18.4)
More and more, the Broncos are getting him involved in the passing game. He had a huge performance against the Chargers that included a TD.
Jermichael Finley (15.4)
Finley has 11 catches over the last two weeks and is becoming a legit threat over the middle for Aaron Rodgers.
Todd Heap (42.9)
He has been pretty solid this season, scoring at least eight points (in PPR leagues) in every game thus far.
Bo Scaife (6.2)
Marcedes Lewis (13.0)
Brandon Pettigrew (6.4)

Matt Hasselbeck (54.6) is out there in almost 46% of leagues and when he’s on the field, he’s clearly roster-worthy. He has a great upcoming schedule, so grab him before picking anyone else up on this list:

Jason Campbell (40.1)
After some early season struggles, Campbell is averaging 218 yards and 1.7 TD over the last three games. A nice matchup with the Chiefs awaits.
Shaun Hill (13.4)
Hill is on bye this week and didn’t play particularly well against the Falcons in Week 5. However, he has a tasty matchup with the Texans in Week 7, so if you’re looking for a bye-week fill in, you could do worse.
Matthew Stafford (6.9)
If he can play, which is unlikely considering the Lions have a bye in Week 6 and may decide to give him the extra rest, Stafford has a nice matchup with the Packers this week.
Derek Anderson (3.7)
Marc Bulger (1.3)
Jake Delhomme (14.6)
Chad Henne (1.6)
Josh Johnson (1.4)
Johnson posted 240 yards and 2 TD (along with three INT) against the Eagles. Not bad for a rookie.

As is usually the case, there isn’t a whole lot out there on the waiver wire at the RB position.

Sammy Morris (38.8)
With Fred Taylor sidelined, maybe for the season, Morris (19 touches, 117 yards) was the clear RB1 for the Patriots. Kevin Faulk had seven touches and Laurence Maroney had five, so it looks like Morris is the NE RB to own going forward. He should be owned in most formats and should be a solid RB2/flex play despite a tough upcoming schedule.
Michael Bush (30.8)
With 13 touches for 43 yards and a TD, Bush looks like the better RB to own in Oakland while Darren McFadden is out. Bush appears to be the goal line back, so that helps.
Jamaal Charles (4.4)
The KC RB1 job is ripe for the plucking, but Charles has a fumbling problem and can’t get out of his own way. Charles is averaging 5.1 ypc to LJ’s 2.4.
Mike Bell (34.1)
Bell has been medically cleared to play, so he should be back in Week 6. We’ll see how Sean Payton plans to use him.
Chris Brown (2.1)
He’s still the Houston goal line back so he’s a threat to score a TD each and every week.
Kevin Faulk (5.7)
Justin Fargas (2.4)

Nate Burleson (50.5)
Now that Matt Hasselbeck is back, Burleson should be more consistent.
Jeremy Maclin (8.5)
The rookie erupted for 6-142-2 against the Bucs. Don’t expect a top 20 finish, but Maclin is currently the WR2 in a great offense.
Donnie Avery (52.2)
Avery hit some waiver wires after a brutal start, but a 5-87-1 day should start to turn things around. The Rams simply don’t have any good options at WR, so Avery should see a ton of targets.
Nate Washington (20.0)
Despite a quiet day against the Colts (3-37), Washington has caught 16 passes over the last four weeks.
Sidney Rice (18.5)
Rice is averaging 4.0-62-.7 over the last three games.
Austin Collie (2.1)
Collie was a big disappointment (1-4) in Week 2 just after Anthony Gonzalez went down, but over the last two weeks he has posted 14-162-3. He’s appears to be safe to use as a WR2/WR3 in PPR leagues as long as Gonzalez as out.
Miles Austin (2.4)
The Cowboys say they’re going to get Austin more involved, but it will help if Roy Williams stays sidelined.
Mohamed Massaquoi (9.7)
He was brutal in Week 5, but the wind was gnarly and he was targeted six times. He is the Browns’ WR1 going forward.
Hakeem Nicks (8.4)
The rookie has 5-103-2 over the last two games and the Giants want to get him involved.
Josh Morgan (52.0)
After just three catches in the first two games, Morgan has a total of 10-164-1 over the last three. After a Week 6 bye, he has two great matchups in the next three weeks with Houston and Tennessee.
Chris Henry (8.9)
He had his first big yardage game in Week 5 with 92 yards. Laveranues Coles has been a non-factor, so if Henry could get completely healthy, he could seize the Bengals’ WR2 job.
Kenny Britt (11.8)
Andre Caldwell (2.1)
As the Bengals’ WR3, his numbers haven’t been consistent, but he has caught six passes twice this season and already has two TD.
Bobby Wade (3.8)
He has at least eight points in PPR formats in each of the last four games. He’s a good guy to have as a fill-in.
Bryant Johnson (1.0)
Keep an eye on Calvin Johnson’s leg injury. If Megatron is out, Bryant Johnson would become the Lions default WR1.
Chris Chambers (34.1)
Mark Clayton (11.6)
Muhsin Muhammad (25.3)
Davone Bess (5.5)
Keenan Burton (1.0)
Burton is the Rams’ possession guy and should get some work as the Rams throw to stay in games.
Earl Bennett (16.9)
Mike Wallace (2.0)

Heath Miller (30.8)
Miller is slow of foot but has great hands, and Big Ben likes him. He is averaging 5.8 catches per game and has posted 13-124-3 over the last two games. I’d say he’s starter-quality.
Todd Heap (38.9)
Heap has 21 catches on the year and 15 in the last three weeks. The Ravens like to run around the goal line, but Heap is a decent backup in PPR leagues.
Visanthe Shiancoe (37.6)
Brett Favre loves to use his TE in the red zone and Shiancoe already has three TD on the season. He’s not being used much otherwise, but 7-67-2 over the last two weeks might be a sign of things to come.
Bo Scaife (7.1)
Scaife has caught seven passes for 70 yards over the last two weeks. He’s a decent backup in PPR leagues.
Jermichael Finley (5.4)
Tony Scheffler (19.4)
He has seven catches in the last two weeks as Orton seems to be looking his way more often.
Brandon Pettigrew (6.4)
Benjamin Watson (28.6)
Watson has caught at least two passes in four of five games and already has three TD on the year. He’s always a threat with Tom Brady under center.
Marcedes Lewis (7.1)

Shaun Hill (8.9)
With Frank Gore out, Hill is becoming more of a factor in the SF offense, and he’s taking advantage of a pretty easy schedule.
Mark Sanchez (51.7)
Jason Campbell (32.4)
He can be started when he has a good matchup, and this makes him a good guy to have as part of a committee.
Derek Anderson (0.8)
Anderson makes the Browns a threat again.
Jake Delhomme (16.8)
Matthew Stafford (6.9)
Kerry Collins (11.0)
Josh Johnson (1.2)
Chad Henne (0.8)
Kyle Boller (0.4)

Glen Coffee (57.5)
Not quite available in 50% of ESPN leagues, but since it’s close, I’ll list him here. He’s the workhorse back in SF with Gore sidelined for another 1-2 weeks.
Rashard Mendenhall (37.3)
Willie Parker thinks he’ll play next week, but turf toes are notoriously fickle injuries and Mendenhall looked great against the Chargers.
Tashard Choice (41.3)
Marion Barber only had one carry in the second half, but it looks like he will play against KC next week. Still, expect Choice to get plenty of work against a suspect Chiefs defense.
Jerome Harrison (1.9)
Harrison is the man with Jamal Lewis out. He’s a fine RB2 play in PPR leagues since he’s so active in the Browns’ passing game. And since Lewis is old and has a hamstring injury, he might be the guy on the list with the most long-term value (this season).
Justin Fargas (2.3)
With Darren McFadden sidelined 2-4 weeks, Fargas could see a majority of the work in the Oakland backfield. He touched the ball 11 times compared to Michael Bush’s four.
Michael Bush (31.9)
Bush will fight with Fargas for touches.

Mike Sims-Walker (38.4)
Sims-Walker should be owned in all leagues. The guy is a stud in the making and Garrard loves him.
Nate Washington (13.8)
Three TD in the last three weeks is nothing to sneeze at, folks. The Titans have to throw the ball now that their defense can’t stop the pass. My biggest corncern with Washington is that Vince Young takes over. If Kerry Collins can’t right the ship, Washington’s stock might take a hit with Young under center.
Donnie Avery (59.6)
Like it or not, he’s the Rams’ WR1 now with Laurent Robinson sidelined.
Sidney Rice (5.8)
Back to back good games for Rice, who seems to be gaining the confidence of Brett Favre. Still, it would seem his upside is limited given the presence of Bernard Berrian and Percy Harvin and the fact that the Vikings are still a run-oriented team.
Kenny Britt (9.2)
Mohamed Massaquoi (0.2)
Massaquoi was targeted 13 times and posted a very nice 8-148 day against a pretty good Bengals defense. With Braylon Edwards’ struggles, could the rookie emerge as the Brown’s WR1?
Pierre Garcon (37.5)
Johnny Knox (55.3)
Josh Morgan (59.3)
Nate Burleson (41.9)
After a nice run, Burleson took a back seat to T.J. Houshmanzadeh and Deion Branch in Week 4.
Austin Collie (0.6)
After a rough, one-catch outing in Week 2, Collie has nine catches over the last two weeks.
Louis Murphy (7.2)
Hakeem Nicks (8.1)
Kelly Washington (1.9)
Mark Clayton (14.6)
Muhsin Muhammad (28.6)
Earl Bennett (19.1)

Brent Celek is still available in approximately 44% of ESPN leagues. How is this possible? He’s the 4th-best fantasy TE in the league. Pick him up! I know he’s not a big name, but I’d start Tom Selleck if he’s going to post TE4 numbers.

Vernon Davis (41.0)
10-139-2 over the last two weeks — has Davis finally arrived?
Heath Miller (17.5)
Todd Heap (42.8)
Jermichael Finley (4.4)
After being shut out against the Rams, Finley bounced back in a big way against the Vikings, posting a nice 6-128-1 line. He’ll post bigger numbers when the Packers are forced to pass. (He’s on bye this week, however.)
Visanthe Shiancoe (39.6)
Marcedes Lewis (4.8)
In PPR leagues, Lewis has scored 15+ in two of the last three weeks.
Dante Rosario (0.5)
Brandon Pettigrew (7.3)
The rookie has 10 catches over the last three weeks and the Lions will have to throw a lot this season.
Bo Scaife (8.3)
