- THE WORLD OF ISAAC put together a list of The 10 Best Sports Movie Coaches. Not to nitpick, but where is Bobby Finstock (above), the brilliant coach from “Teen Wolf”?
- MAJOR LEAGUE JERK argues that Eli Manning isn’t worth the contract extension he’s about to get.
- DEADSPIN has Eddy Curry’s reaction to the bizarre sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by his former limo driver.
- The guys over at BALL DON’T LIE (a Yahoo! Sports blog) put together an NBA video podcast. One topic they discuss (at the 3:10) mark is who should be the shooting guard on the 1st Team All-NBA — Kobe or D-Wade? My money is on Kobe, since the Lakers have a much better record.

- In light of the Cardinals/Eagles tilt this Sunday, DEADSPIN provides an informative FAQ for those of us that have been ignoring the Cards all these years.
- TONYBLOGS brings us the bizarre story (and that’s an understatement) of the (male) limo driver (and convicted burglar) that brought sexual harassment charges against Eddy Curry.
- SHUTDOWN CORNER examines the coaching record of Tony Dungy’s successor, Jim Caldwell. Not pretty.
- Remember the video of Chris Berman’s temper tantrum? Well, DEADSPIN has a photo of Berman showing up late to the “Sunday NFL Countdown” set. Way to walk the walk, Chris!
- FSU free safety Myron Rolle is a smart, smart man. He is a Rhodes Scholar and intends to forgo the NFL Draft (where he is projected to be drafted in the first round) and instead attend Oxford University — that’s right, the Oxford University — for a year before entering the draft in 2010. - Lil’ Wayne went head to head with Skip Bayless (ooooooooh!) and DEADSPIN has the video. On a side note, Dana Jacobsen (yes, the one that got drunk and cursed at a “celebrity” roast a while back) is fan of Weezy’s grill.
- Via SPORTSBYBROOKS, Gus Frerotte feels that the Vikings lost last Sunday’s game to the Eagles because he wasn’t the quarterback. Um…y’think?
- THE WORLD OF ISAAC has learned that Rob Parker — you know, the guy who asked Rod Marinelli if he wished that his daughter had married a better defensive coordinator — anyway, Rob Parker is no longer working for the Detroit News.
- A Mets fan over at BUGS & CRANKS wonders why they would want to sign Derrick Lowe.
