Report: Woods found shoeless, snoring in the street

According to a report by, Tiger Woods was found shoeless and snoring in the street when neighbors came upon him following his accident last week.

By the time authorities arrived, Tiger Woods was on the ground outside the SUV. His wife told them she used a golf club to break open rear windows and free him.

According to the Sentinel’s report, Harris told the FHP she was in a bedroom when she heard what she described as a “knocking sound.” Through a window, she said she could see the tail lights of a black vehicle. She awoke her brother and asked him to go outside.

Adams saw Woods, unconscious and snoring, in the street on the passenger side of the SUV. A golf cart was next to the vehicle, with two golf clubs in it. Woods’ wife, Elin, wearing a black jogging suit, begged Adams for help, according to the report.

“She said, ‘Can you please help me? Can you please help me?’ ” Adams said, the Sentinel reported.

“I said ‘OK.’ I immediately just ran back to the house, got the phone, called 911, ran back out the house again to go back out there to see if she needed any assistance,” he said.

Nothing makes sense here and these new twists don’t help bring clarity to the situation. If I didn’t know better, I would think that I was reading a script to a comedy. I can’t even begin to put together the puzzle of events that transpired that night to make sense of it all.

Why were he and Elin out there in their car and golf carts? Why did she break the back window open to get him out of the car? Why would he wind up shoeless and asleep after the accident?

What a bizarre freaking story.

Woods: “I have let my family down.”

On Wednesday, Tiger Woods published a statement on his website addressing the allegations surrounding his personal life.

I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.

Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it’s difficult.

I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology.

The Florida Highway Patrol charged Tiger with careless driving and issued him a traffic citation. The fine is $164 and four points on his driving license.

On top of The National Enquirer report that he had an affair with nightclub manger Rachel Uchitel, two more females have allegedly been linked to Tiger off the course.

From Contributor

Five days in the making after Tiger Woods was in a car accident. It dominated the internet searches and after that his alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel whose name is the main searches in the search engines for several days. Then came out Joanna Jagoda, Woods former girlfriend.

The new girl is Jaimee Grubbs who claims that she has 31 months relationship with Tiger Woods. She even has the evidence to prove it through text messages and voice messages. What will be the [sic] next? Will it be Tiger Woods divorce with his wife which will be inevitable because of him who has many mistresses?

It’s important to keep in mind that these are just rumors and it wouldn’t be entirely shocking to find out that these girls just want their 15 minutes of fame any way they can get it. That said, I doubt Tiger will release any more statements outside of the one above and why should he? It’s a private matter that should be just that: Private.

Should Tiger’s alleged affairs be made public?

Woods to skip the Chevron World Challenge

According to the, Tiger Woods will not compete in this week’s Chevron World Challenge following his accident early Friday morning.

According to sources close to the situation, Tiger Woods will not play this week’s Chevron World Challenge in the wake of last week’s accident outside his Isleworth home.

There has been no announcement on Woods’ Web site.

For the second consecutive year the world No. 1 will not be playing the event that benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation. He missed the tournament last year while recovering from knee surgery.

It remains unclear whether doctors will allow him to travel to California from Florida later this week.

According to sources, doctors have advised him that he should not travel due to headaches and soreness.

This isn’t surprising in the least. Regardless of his physical alignments, Tiger wasn’t going to put himself in position to be surrounded by the media for a couple days just one week after his accident. It’s best for him to lay low for a while and let his situation settle in before he tries to go out in the public eye (not to mention play golf).

The media will have to wait a little longer to probe Tiger with an onslaught of questions that stand little chance to be answered.

Report: Police want search warrant in Tiger Woods case

According to, the Florida Highway Patrol is trying to obtain a search warrant in Tiger Woods’ case after three failed attempts to talk to him about what happened during his accident on Friday morning.

One big piece of evidence showing probable cause … sources tell us Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren told FHP troopers she went looking for Tiger in a golf cart, came upon the accident and then used a golf club to break the window to gain entry. That’s a very different story from what she first told Windemere cops shortly after the accident — she never mentioned a golf cart. Nordegren told Windemere police she had walked out of her house, saw the crash, went back inside to get a golf club and returned to the vehicle.

And there’s more … although alcohol was not involved, Tiger was in and out of consciousness and TMZ has already reported Tiger told a friend he was taking prescription meds for pain, which could be evidence of DUI. This, too, could constitute probable cause to obtain a warrant.

The Florida Highway Patrol will have to go to court and show probable cause that a crime had been committed in order to receive a warrant. That may or may not be hard to prove.

There has been something off about this situation from the start and it may be awhile before the real story comes out (if it every does, that is). The problem is that some media will run with whatever little rumor they uncover (or fabricate) and it’ll muddy what really happened. Either way, Tigers’ rep will likely take a hit for the time being, but the public has a short memory and will eventually forget about this once he starts winning championships again.

Questions for Tiger Woods

Photo from fOTOGLIF

In a column on Fox Sports, Brooks from has a list of 20 questions he’d like answered regarding the bizarre incident. Here’s several of them.

Five days in the somehow-intertwined lives of Tiger Woods, his wife Elin Nordegren and Woods’ alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel have left me with more questions than answers. Twenty, actually.

1. Tiger’s official Web site characterized the incident as a “minor car accident,” yet his wife told police she needed to smash out the back window of his 2009 Escalade in order to rescue him. Does that sound like a “minor car accident”?

2. Why did the Florida Highway Patrol wait 11 1/2 hours to report anything about the incident to the public? The report came, perhaps not coincidentally, after Woods had received treatment and exited an Orlando hospital.

3. If the National Enquirer story of Woods’ alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel is untrue, which Uchitel maintains, why did report that Woods’ wife scratched his face and smashed his SUV in an apparent fit of rage over the Enquirer’s report?

4. Why are Woods and Nordegren stll refusing to formally talk to police about the accident? If you know you’ve been truthful with the police and have nothing to hide, why wait.

When the story of the accident came out, the explanation seemed ridiculous. Today, Tiger refused to speak to police for the third straight day. It looks like Team Tiger is doing everything possible to control the damage here, but his reputation is taking a serious hit.

Brooks is all over the story, with great photos Rachel Uchitel and constant updates on the story.
