Everything you need to know (and a lot that you don’t) about the fantasy implications of Sunday’s action.

QUARTERBACKS

Trent Edwards threw two picks and fumbled, but he threw for more than 197+ yards and a TD for the sixth time in eight games...Kyle Orton suffered an ugly ankle injury and it looks like he could be out for a month. Rex Grossman will fill in for him...Gus Frerotte (182 yards, 3 TD, INT) continues to play solid ball for Minnesota. Since he took over six games ago, he is averaging 245 yards and 1.3 pass TD per game.

RUNNING BACKS

Kevin Smith got 16 touches to Rudi Johnson’s 10, and Smith also scored a TD, so it looks like he is the lead back in Detroit...Cedric Benson (25 touches, 109 yards, TD) seems to be settling into the RB1 role in Cincy...All that pregame talk about Michael Bennett getting most of the work for Tampa Bay turned out to be erroneous. Earnest Graham is a solid start as long as Warrick Dunn is out. He fumbled twice, but threw a TD to Alex Smith to make up for it...There were rumors that the Cardinals were going to cut Edgerrin James’ touches and give Tim Hightower more of the workload, but I wasn’t expecting Hightower to register 23 touches (108 yards, TD) and James to register zero. It looks like Hiightower is officially RB1 in Arizona...Ryan Grant (20 carries, 86 yards) ran pretty well against a good Titans defense, which is encouraging for his owners. He failed to score a TD, however...The Denver running game was awful against the Dolphins. Three RBs (Michael Pittman, Andre Hall and Ryan Torain) combined for 12 yards on 11 carries...Michael Turner (31 carries, 139 yards) once again tore up a bad rush defense. He has four 104+ yard games (OAK, GB, KC, DET) against mediocre-to-bad defenses and four sub 58-yard games (PHI, CHI, CAR, TB) against four good defenses. He doesn’t get any action in the passing game (3 receptions all year), so he can’t make up for a bad rushing day in PPR leagues...Maurice Morris (8 touches, 43 yards) and Julius Jones (11 touches, 45 yards) split the RB work almost evenly...BenJarvus Green-Ellis (16 touches, 65 yards, TD) and Kevin Faulk (15 touches, 98 yards) split the work with Sammy Morris and LaMont Jordan out. Faulk has more value in PPR leagues while Green-Ellis is the better play in standard and TD-heavy leagues.

He failed to score a TD, however…The Denver running game was awful against the Dolphins. Three RBs (Michael Pittman, Andre Hall and Ryan Torain) combined for 12 yards on 11 carries…Michael Turner (31 carries, 139 yards) once again tore up a bad rush defense. Faulk has more value in PPR leagues while Green-Ellis is the better play in standard and TD-heavy leagues.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Shaun McDonald has gone for 11-133-1 over the last two weeks and is the clear WR2 in Detroit. He’s worth a pickup, especially in PPR leagues…Rashied Davis (5-64-1) led the Bears in receiving this week, but Devin Hester (4-42) was a factor as well. Brandon Lloyd wasn’t active despite partially participating in practice this week…Both T.J. Houshmandzadeh (7-65) and Chad Johnson (5-37-2) have played pretty well the last couple of games, even with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center…After a dreadful week against the Raiders (1-3), Derrick Mason exploded with a 9-136-1 day. He has caught at least four passes in seven of eight games this season and is a solid start in PPR leagues…Antonio Bryant (8-115-1) continues to thrive even with Joey Galloway (1-22) back. We might be seeing a changing of the guard in Tampa…Torry Holt (6-58-1) showed some life after complaining about his role in the St. Louis offense…Donald Driver (7-136-1) has caught 17 passes over the last three games, and is still a good WR2 in most PPR leagues…Greg Camarillo (11-111) continues to post solid numbers in PPR leagues. He has caught at least four passes in the last seven games…DeSean Jackson (2-20) had an unusually quiet game, and it might have something to do with the return of Kevin Curtis (6-83).

TIGHT ENDS

Owen Daniels had a huge (11-133) game for the Texans, outgaining Andre Johnson and Kevin Walter combined…Visanthe Shiancoe (1-25-1) found the endzone for the fourth time in six games…Jason Witten (0-0) was active, but failed to catch a pass. He was targeted four times and two resulted in interceptions. Hopefully, he can heal with the week off…Kevin Boss (3-30-1) continues his up and down play. Until he can show more consistency, he’s nothing but a spot starter.

FREE AGENTS

Now here are my thoughts on a few guys that might be on your league’s waiver wire…

Willis McGahee owners are cursing the Ravens right now. He was active for the game, but didn’t register a touch as Ray Rice (24 touches, 176 yards) and LeRon McClain (15 touches, 37 yards, TD) handled the rushing duties. It looks like Rice has passed McClain on the depth chart and is the guy to own in PPR leagues… Joe Flacco has put up pretty decent numbers over the last three weeks. Against the Browns, he posted 248 yards and two TD…Kolby Smith got off to a good start, but left the game with an injury. Now it looks like Jamaal Charles (18 rushes, 106 yards) is the Chiefs’ RB1…Tyler Thigpen (164 yards passing, TD, 22 yards rushing) put up decent QB numbers for the second straight week. Last week, it was against the Jets, but this week it was against a good Bucs’ defense…Mark Bradley’s 4-65 day followed up last week’s 5-42-1 day against the Jets. With defenses focused on Dwayne Bowe and Tony Gonzalez, Bradley is a sleeper at WR, especially if Tyler Thigpen continues to play good ball…Sage Rosenfels (224 yards, 2 TD, INT) was back under center in the second half against the Vikings after a shot to the knee knocked Matt Schaub out of the game…Michael Jenkins (2-64-2) scored on two long pass plays. This came on the heels of four straight games with 3+ catches. He should see his value rise as Matt Ryan gains experience…JaMarcus Russell (6/19, 31 yards, INT) was absolutely brutal against a shaky Falcons pass defense…Brent Celek (6-131) started in place of the concussed L.J. Smith and had a great game…Koren Robinson (4-105-1) has caught four passes in each of the last two weeks and right now it looks like he is the Seahawks’ WR1. Bobby Engram (3-20) was pretty quiet. Don’t look for Engram to really get it going until (or is it if?) Matt Hasselbeck comes back.

Every week, I highlight a few players that you should target in waivers. I use the ESPN league data when filtering players, so the only players eligible for discussion here are those that are available on the waiver wire of at least 50% of ESPN’s leagues. I’ll list each player’s percentage-owned after their name so you have an idea of how available they are in leagues around the country. I’ll always try to mention a few players that are available in 90% of leagues for those of you in 12-team leagues or leagues with big rosters. I’ll rank them in the order I’d pick them up in a league with a high-performance, PPR scoring system.

QUARTERBACKS

The following guys are owned in more than 50% of leagues, and I’d pick them up in this order before moving onto the rest of the list: Matt Ryan, Matt Cassel and Chad Pennington. I’d pick up Jeff Garcia after Marc Bulger.

Gus Frerotte (29.4)
257 yards and 1.0 TD in five starts. Good matchup this week.
Marc Bulger (45.6)
Starting to show signs of life. Also has a good matchup this week.
JaMarcus Russell (37.3)
He has been decent in four of his last five starts.
Shaun Hill (0.5)
He was named the starter in San Francisco.
Kerry Collins (24.5)
Joe Flacco (16.8)
Tyler Thigpen (1.4)
Looked pretty good against the Jets.
Dan Orlovsky (8.6)
Ryan Fitzpatrick (7.6)
Brad Johnson (34.3)
Seneca Wallace (2.5)

Gus Frerotte (29.4)
257 yards and 1.0 TD in five starts. Good matchup this week.
Marc Bulger (45.6)
Starting to show signs of life. Also has a good matchup this week.
JaMarcus Russell (37.3)
Shaun Hill (0.5)
Dan Orlovsky (8.6)
Ryan Fitzpatrick (7.6)
Brad Johnson (34.3)
Seneca Wallace (2.5)

RUNNING BACKS

If Mewelde Moore (66.8) is on your league’s waiver wire, he’s worth a pickup as long as Willie Parker is sidelined (and it could be a while).

Cedric Benson (38.1)
Fifteen touches in each of the last two weeks. He’s the starter in Cincy, for whatever that’s worth.
Kevin Faulk (29.0)
He’s the best all around back in New England with Sammy Morris out.
Derrick Ward (48.2)
Still one of the best backup RBs in the game. If Jacobs goes down, watch out.
Pierre Thomas (18.4)
Should take over main rushing duties if Deuce is suspended.
Antonio Pittman (1.3)
Appears to be RB1 in St. Louis as long as Steven Jackson is sidelined.
Leon Washington (32.5)
Breakout game could mean more touches, but TJ is the man and the Jets are a passing team.
Maurice Morris (22.5)
Kolby Smith (12.7)
Jamaal Charles is nicked up, but LJ may be back.
Aaron Stecker (2.1)
LaMont Jordan (7.0)
If he can get healthy, he could carry the load for a game or two before Sammy Morris comes back.
Fred Jackson (19.4)
Shaun Alexander (20.9)
BenJarvus Green-Ellis (15.6)
With that many names, you’d think he was more than one person. But he’s just one man, and he’s part of a RBBC in New England.
Ahman Green (27.2)
Ray Rice (21.5)

WIDE RECEIVERS

I’d acquire Donnie Avery first, then I’d grab Lance Moore, Kevin Walter, Antonio Bryant, Devin Hester, Joey Galloway, Kevin Curtis and Antwaan Randle El (all owned in more than 50% of ESPN leagues) next, and in that order, before moving on to #2 on this list.

Donnie Avery (22.3)
He’s making a push for Torry Holt’s hold on the WR1 spot in St. Louis.
Ted Ginn (19.6)
Might he finally be capitalizing on all that potential? A 7-175 day says yes.
Greg Camarillo (31.7)
He’s still producing in PPR leagues.
Bobby Wade (11.5)
You can’t argue with 24 receptions in the last four weeks. Spot starter in PPR leagues.
Brandon Lloyd (29.6)
He’s back at practice and was hot before he got injured. Only time will tell if he’ll catch fire again.
Rashied Davis (17.4)
Deion Branch (17.2)
If he could ever get healthy… He’s worth stashing if you have the room.
Justin Gage (18.9)
Not good in his first start back, but the Colts are good against the pass.
Chaz Schilens (0.0)
Starting to work his way into WR1 status in Oakland, for whatever that’s worth.
Amani Toomer (42.0)
Steve Smith (12.4)
He might be the most dependable WR on the Giants’ roster.
Ike Hilliard (33.9)
Shaun McDonald (3.1)
Worth a look in deep PPR leagues. WR2 in Detroit.
Donte Stallworth (32.5)
Chansi Stuckey (25.3)
Josh Morgan (15.3)
He posted a goose egg Sunday after his supposed “breakout” game two weeks ago.
Javon Walker (28.0)
Only had four targets against Baltimore. Worrisome.
Nate Washington (6.6)
Relegated back to WR3 duties once Santonio Holmes returns from suspension.
Michael Jenkins (7.1)
He has caught at least three passes in the last four games.
Reggie Williams (22.7)

TIGHT ENDS

If you can grab Greg Olsen, Bo Scaife, Zach Miller, Anthony Fasano or John Carlson, do so before moving onto the list. (They’re all owned in more than 50% of ESPN leagues.)

Donald Lee (42.5)
An Aaron Rodgers favorite around the goal line.
Visanthe Shiancoe (36.3)
He’s doing pretty well with Gus Frerotte under center.
Marcedes Lewis (29.6)
He has caught at least three passes and/or scored a TD in each of the last three games. It’s a sad day when Lewis is more valuable than Todd Heap, but that day has arrived.
Todd Heap (44.3)
Billy Miller (8.6)
Solid as long as Jeremy Shockey is hobbled.
Vernon Davis (43.7)
Is there upside after that Mike Singletary ass-chewing he got on Sunday?
Desmond Clark (7.1)
Daniel Graham (5.8)
Has been good with Tony Scheffler sidelined.
Martelius Bennett (1.7)
Might be a spot starter-type with Witten out.
Kevin Boss (22.3)
Inconsistent, but occasionally good.
Dustin Keller (28.2)
Alge Crumpler (28.0)
Jerramy Stevens (10.6)
David Martin (21.7)
Alex Smith (19.2)
Robert Royal (11.0)

QUARTERBACKS

I’d grab Trent Edwards, J.T. O’Sullivan, Matt Ryan, Chad Pennington and Matt Cassel first (in that order) – they’re all owned in more than 50% of leagues – and then move onto this list:

Gus Frerotte (32.3)
Since he took over as the starter, Frerotte is averaging 257 yards and 1.0 TD per game. He throws a few picks, but he’s a capable fantasy backup.
Marc Bulger (44.7)
We’re still holding out hope that Bulger could return to his glory days, but that seems to be a real longshot at this point. Still, things are looking up now that Scott Linehan is gone.
Jeff Garcia (41.8)
He isn’t flashy, and he probably isn’t going to have too many multiple-TD games, but he should be good for around 200 yards and a score each week, and that’s not bad for a backup.
JaMarcus Russell (40.9)
He posted 203 yards and a TD against a so-so Jets pass defense.
Brad Johnson (41.6)
His uninspired play against the Rams will have Cowboys management rushing Romo back asap.
Brady Quinn (13.4)
Doesn’t it feel like it’s almost the start of the Brady Quinn era in Cleveland?
Ryan Fitzpatrick (4.3)
He could post decent numbers with some good weapons around him.
Kerry Collins (	23.6)
Dan Orlovsky (4.6)
This we know...the Lions will throw a lot because they’ll trail a lot.
Tyler Thigpen (0.2)

Dan Orlovsky (4.6)
This we know…the Lions will throw a lot because they’ll trail a lot.
Tyler Thigpen (0.2)

RUNNING BACKS

I would grab Sammy Morris, Deuce McAllister and Kevin Smith, in that order, because they look to have more long-term value. After that, I’d put Dominic Rhodes at about the same level as the top guy on this list. But there are a couple of finds out there on the usually thin RB waiver wire…

Mewelde Moore (34.2)
Willie Parker’s return date is unkown, so Moore is a RB2-caliber player as long as he’s starting.
Cedric Benson (18.1)
Benson was named the starter in Cincy, which means he’s worth a roster spot in most leagues. Maybe all he needs is a fresh start?
Derrick Ward (43.6)
Ward is probably the best backup in the league.
Benjarvus Green-Ellis (0.1)
With Sammy Morris’ knee in question, Green-Ellis would be the next guy in line.
Kevin Faulk (16.3)
In PPR leagues, Faulk is a spot starter, especially with Maroney gone for the season.
Maurice Morris (15.7)
He’s back and he’s splitting time with Julius Jones
Pierre Thomas (14.3)
Should see more carries with Reggie Bush out 2-4 weeks.
Kolby Smith (2.3)
Starting while Larry Johnson is out – will LJ miss more games?
Jamaal Charles (4.2)
More talented than Smith, but is still in a reserve role for the Chiefs.

At this point, you’re just hoping for a starter to go down…

Ahmad Bradshaw (35.9)
Ray Rice (21.3)
Ahman Green (22.3)
Leon Washington (26.6)
Michael Bush (20.9)
Shaun Alexander (17.2)
Fred Jackson (16.8)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Clearly, Derrick Mason and Devin Hester should be rostered. After that, there are a few other appealing guys on the waiver wire.

Antonio Bryant (40.7)
I’m a little worried about his production when Galloway gets back, but he’s certainly produced over the last five weeks (save for a clunker against Carolina).
Greg Camarillo (27.2)
He has caught at least four passes in each of the last five games. A PPR spot starter.
Antwaan Randle El (50.3)
Good guy to have in a PPR league.
<del datetime="2008-10-21T22:32:33+00:00">Matt Jones (37.5)
Has scored in double figures in PPR leagues in four of six games.</del>
Update: Jones has been suspended three games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
Bobby Wade (12.2)
Why not? The guy is averaging 6-68-0 over the last four weeks. He’s worth a roster spot in PPR leagues.
Rashied Davis (10.3)
With Lloyd out and Hester nicked up, Davis might be the WR1 in Chicago. 13 catches over the last three weeks.
Donnie Avery (3.8)
9-138-1 over the last two weeks makes the rookie an interesting pickup.
Deion Branch (23.7)
He was productive for a quarter until he got hurt again. If healthy, he’s worth picking up.
Marty Booker (1.6)
He doesn’t have much long-term value, but with Lloyd out and Hester hobbled, he might be a nice one- or two-week fill in.
Mike Furrey (0.7)
6-89 the game after Roy Williams was traded? Is this a sign of things to come or will Furrey return to the role of WR2 in Detroit?
Josh Morgan (2.5)
After a 5-86-1 day, Morgan might be capitalizing on his considerable upside. The 49ers say that he’s going to continue to start.
Justin Gage (22.1)
If he can get healthy, he’s a WR3 in PPR leagues. But he can’t seem to get healthy.
Steve Smith (12.5)
22 catches over the past four weeks makes Smith a decent own in PPR leagues.
Amani Toomer (49.5)
Starting to take a back seat to Steve Smith?
Javon Walker (25.5)
Had a nice Week 7, and if healthy, he has some upside. But does anyone really think this is a sign of things to come?
Michael Jenkins (8.2)
10 catches in three weeks isn’t going to blow anyone’s skirt up, but he could be a spot starter in huge leagues.
Ted Ginn (23.0)
In PPR leagues, Ginn has had some value over the last four games. Spot starter at best.
Josh Reed (17.8)
Has caught at least three passes in every game this season. Whoopee!
Chris Henry (15.1)
With Ryan Fitzpatrick under center, are there three WRs Cincy worth owning?

TIGHT ENDS

If Greg Olsen, Donald Lee or Zach Miller are out there on your waiver wire, grab ‘em. If not, take a look at the list below:

John Carlson (45.2)
With Deion Branch still hobbled, Carlson is once again the first or second option in the Seattle passing game. Two TD in the last two weeks isn’t bad.
Todd Heap (48.9)
Starting to get more involved in the Baltimore passing attack.
Visanthe Shiancoe (41.8)
Playing pretty well since Frerotte took over.
Marcedes Lewis (35.5)
Two TD in the last two weeks.
Update: Steve Heiden (2.0)
With Kellen Winslow out this week, Heiden will have some value, especially in PPR leagues.
Billy Miller (7.3)
If Shockey misses more time, Miller will be the guy to fill in.
L.J. Smith (34.6)
Desmond Clark (7.6)
Clark continues to play an active role in the Bears’ passing attack.
Vernon Davis (46.4)
David Martin (11.1)
Worth a look in bigger leagues.

I’d grab Trent Edwards, Matt Schaub, David Garrard and Derek Anderson first, but if they’re gone...

1. Matt Ryan (47.0)
At this point, I’d take the rookie (who is wise beyond his years) over anyone else on this list. Beware – he has a bye this week.
2. Brad Johnson (0.5)
He'll take over for the next three games in Dallas. He's a vet and a pro, so expect capable production with a good set of weapons to throw to.
3. Jeff Garcia (18.0)
175 passing yards and a TD every week seems about right. He has a good matchup this week.
4. JaMarcus Russell (45.4)
Erratic arm with upside. He has a nice matchup this week.
5. Marc Bulger (49.7)
Where is the Bulger of old? (Torry Holt wants to know.)
6. Chad Pennington (41.5)
7. Gus Frerotte (25.3)
8. Kerry Collins (22.1)
9. Joe Flacco (13.9)
10. Seneca Wallace (0.3)
11. Brodie Croyle (4.8)
12. Ryan Fitzpatrick (1.4)

8. Kerry Collins (22.1)
9. Joe Flacco (13.9)
10. Seneca Wallace (0.3)
11. Brodie Croyle (4.8)
12. Ryan Fitzpatrick (1.4)

RUNNING BACKS

If Correll Buckhalter, Tim Hightower and Michael Pittman are gone, go for these guys…

1. Warrick Dunn (48.8)
Dunn’s touches grew when the team moved Graham to fullback this weekend (due to injuries). Keep an eye on this situation this week. He’s roster worthy, especially in PPR leagues.
2. Dominic Rhodes (11.9)
As long as Joseph Addai is missing time with a bad hammy, Rhodes is a starter quality fantasy back.
3. Kevin Faulk (10.0)
In PPR leagues, Faulk has good value as long as Laurence Maroney is out.
4. Ray Rice (21.8)
McGahee is nicked up (again) and LeRon McClain only had three touches against Indy. Is it Ray Rice’s time to shine?
5. Cedric Benson (17.8)
Given the way Cincy has handled Kenny Watson (cutting him then re-signing him last week) it would appear Benson is the best bet to take over for Chris Perry if he gets bench (and there are rumors he will be).
6. Derrick Ward (35.0)
7. Ryan Torain (11.4)
He won’t be back for a couple of weeks, and when he does return, there’s no telling how Mike Shanahan will use him. We know one thing – he was on his way to a steady workload before he got injured.
8. Fred Jackson (16.4)
9. Mewelde Moore (41.0)
10. Ahman Green (24.4)
11. Maurice Morris (18.2)
12. Kenny Watson (16.5)

WIDE RECEIVERS

1. Devin Hester (36.6)
He’s starting to look like a real NFL WR. He’s averaging 4.7-60-0.7 over the last three weeks.
2. Antwaan Randle El (46.3)
He’s capitalizing on all the attention Santana Moss is getting.
3.,Greg Camarillo (14.0)
Worth a roster spot in PPR leagues. Probably the top WR in Miami. (Certainly the most consistent.)
4. Kevin Walter (42.1)
He gets consistent looks and the Texans are often in shootouts.
5. Steve Breaston (42.0)
Continues to thrive with Anquan Boldin out.
6. Justin Gage (25.1)
If he could ever stay healthy, Gage would be a terror in PPR leagues.
7. Deion Branch (33.6)
8. Matt Jones (38.7)
9. Brandon Stokley (33.2)
Keep an eye on that injury. Value is hurt when Royal returns.
10. Rashied Davis (2.8)
As long as Brandon Lloyd is out, Davis is a sleeper in the Bears’ surprisingly good passing attack.
11. Steve Smith (11.8)
Smith is averaging 6-60 over the last three weeks. He’s not usurping Amani Toomer as WR2 in NYG, but things are getting close.
12. Ike Hilliard (46.5)
Bad week is probably an aberration.
13. Chansi Stuckey (36.7)
Zero catches last week.
14. Michael Jenkins (8.3)
Complementary receiver is catching 3-4 passes a game.
15. Josh Reed (25.8)
Bye week fodder for larger PPR leagues.
16. Donte Stallworth (39.9)
He’s playing again. That’s a start.
17. Kevin Curtis (47.3)
On his way back, but what will be his role?
18. Hank Baskett (33.0)
19. Brandon Lloyd (45.2)
He was on fire before the injury, but there’s no return in sight.
20. Robert Meachem (46.9)
21. Bryant Johnson (40.6)

TIGHT ENDS

1. Zach Miller (46.3)
8-141-1 over the past two weeks ain’t bad.
2. Bo Scaife (44.7)
I spent all week daydreaming about the 7-72 he posted before the Titans’ bye.
3. John Carlson (43.0)
He has already had an up and down season, but looks to be a Charlie Frye favorite. Woo hoo!
4. Vernon Davis (51.1)
6-75 against the blitz-happy Philly? Is this a sign of things to come or just an aberration? Two catches (total) in the previous four games indicates the latter.
5. L.J. Smith (36.9)
6. Donald Lee (47.9)
7. Marcedes Lewis (18.7)
Two TD in the last two weeks. Is Lewis finally capitalizing on all that talent?
8. Visanthe Shiancoe (38.9)
A quiet week brings a decent run to an end.
9. Alex Smith (10.8)
Occasionally catches a TD and has caught at least two passes in all but one game this season.
10. Dustin Keller (30.2)
A Favre favorite near the goal line, Keller had a TD taken away last week due to a penalty. Doh!
11. Dante Rosario (21.0)
12. Ben Utecht (13.6)
4-34 against the Jets.
13. Alge Crumpler (34.2)
Why isn’t he posting better numbers?
14. Kevin Boss (31.7)
15. Billy Miller (5.1)
He’s a decent fill in as long as Jeremy Shockey is out.

Zach Miller was once again the Raiders’ top receiver (3-46) and it seems like he and JaMarcus Russell are starting to develop a rapport…Jeff Garcia (173 yards, TD) is back to being a decent fantasy backup…Devin Hester is averaging 4.7-60-0.7 over the last three games. It will be interesting to see if he can keep this up once (if) Brandon Lloyd returns…Don’t go crazy trying to pick up Patrick Cobbs (3-138-2) this week. This looks more like an aberration than anything else…Greg Camarillo (4-49) continues to post decent numbers in PPR leagues…With Joseph Addai hurt, Dominic Rhodes (25 carries, 73 yards, TD) looked strong. Addai tweaked his hammy, so Rhodes’ value will depend on when Addai can return…Joe Flacco (241 yards, 3 INT) was brutal against the Colts…Donnie Avery (4-73) has caught at least three passes in each of the last three weeks… Just when fantasy owners gave up on Matt Jones (7-69) again, he put up another good game in PPR leagues…Michael Pittman (23 touches, 125 yards) got all of the work with Selvin Young out. Oddly enough, Andre Hall didn’t register a touch…Steve Breaston (8-102-1) continues to shine with Anquan Boldin out.

Bulger resumes his starting duties this week.
3. Matt Ryan (43.4)
Ryan threw for 194 yards and two TD against he Packers, and almost had a third TD.

Pennington has a nice matchup with the Texans in Week 6.
5. Gus Frerotte (16.1)
With the Lions on tap in Week 6, Frerotte is a good pickup this week.

1. Mewelde Moore (40.0)
Moore is starter caliber as long as Willie Parker is out.
2. Warrick Dunn (39.9)
Dunn continues to split touches with Graham, which makes him a decent flex/spot-starter play.
3. Justin Fargas (56.8)
Fargas is over our 50% threshold, but he’s back at practice and may be the starter if McFadden continues to nurse his turf toe.
4. Tim Hightower (42.7)
Hightower keeps vulturing goal line carries, so he has some value.
5. Michael Bush (34.3)
Productive when given the opportunity, Bush now has to deal with Fargas coming off an injury.
6. Derrick Ward (31.5)
Even though Brandon Jacobs re-established his grip on the starting job, Ward is still a backup with major upside.
7. Maurice Morris (20.2)
If he can get healthy, he’ll likely find himself back in a timeshare with Julius Jones.
8. Cedric Benson (10.2)
As Chris Perry continues to fumble, the chances that Benson can earn a bigger role continue to increase.
9. Ladell Betts (20.1)
Like Ward, Betts would become a starter caliber RB if something were to happen to Clinton Portis.
10. Kenny Watson (22.3)
Given Chris Perry’s fumbling problems, Watson has an outside chance for major
11. Leon Washington (30.2)
12. Ahman Green (26.6)
13. Brandon Jackson (24.2)
playing time now that he’s back with Cincy.
14. Fred Jackson (17.4)
15. Dominic Rhodes (13.6)

WIDE RECEIVERS

1. Bobby Engram (50.5)
8-61 in his return + Deion Branch injury = lots of opportunity for Bobby Engram.
2. Ike Hilliard (44.4)
Hilliard isn’t going to win any games single-handedly, but he’s a great backup in PPR leagues.
3. Brandon Stokley (10.4)
With Eddie Royal hobbled, Stokley shouldn’t have any problem continuing his hot run (13-132-1 over the last two weeks).
4. Steve Breaston (19.8)
As long as Anquan Boldin misses time, Breaston is a solid starter as a WR2 or WR3, especially in PPR leagues.
5. Devin Hester (27.0)
Is Hester catching on? His recent performance – eight catches for 93 yards and two TD over the last two weeks – says that maybe he is.
6. Chansi Stuckey (44.9)
7. Antwaan Randle El (41.6)
8. Amani Toomer (49.5)
9. Kevin Walter (40.5)
10. Mike Walker (0.1)
The second-year wideout has caught 11 passes for 153 yards over the last two weeks. He and David Garrard seem to be developing a rapport. There is a lot of upside here.
11. Greg Camarillo (3.1)
Over the last three weeks, Camarillo has 14 catches for 177 yards and a TD. He’s roster worthy in all PPR leagues.
12. Justin Gage (31.1)
I still like Gage. He’s the WR1 in Tennessee if he can just get healthy.
13. Ted Ginn (29.8)
After a dreadful start, Ginn has 12 catches for 104 yards over the last two weeks, which makes him an interesting pickup in PPR leagues.
14. Domenik Hixon (3.0)
He exploded with Burress out after catching three passes in each of the two previous games. Going forward, it’s tough to see him getting enough targets to be a regular fantasy starter.
15. Kevin Curtis (48.2)
Only Andy Reid knows how he’s going to fit in with DeSean Jackson and Reggie Brown.
16. Robert Meachem (40.5)
17. Matt Jones (33.2)
18. Josh Reed (30.8)
Reed has caught at least four passes in each of the last four weeks, which makes him fodder as a spot starter in PPR leagues.
19. Deion Branch (31.6)
Branch injured his right heel and did not return. He’s not worth picking up unless he’s able to play in the next week or two.
20. Jabar Gaffney (17.1)
He has nine catches for 85 yards and a TD over the last two weeks.
21. Nate Washington (0.7)
A big game against Jacksonville (6-94-1) gives a glimpse at Washington’s potential, but with Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes ahead of him, he probably won’t get enough targets to produce consistently.

TIGHT ENDS

1. Bo Scaife (50.4)
Scaife is a bona fide fantasy backup and one of the Titans’ biggest “weapons” in the passing game.
2. Zach Miller (25.4)
He has as much upside as anyone on this list, but he plays with an inconsistent QB in JaMarcus Russell.
3. Donald Lee (48.1)
Not quite as consistent as last year, but he’s a decent fantasy backup.
4. L.J. Smith (37.1)
He caught three passes for 26 yards in his return.
5. Dustin Keller (23.2)
A Favre favorite around the goal line.
6. Visanthe Shiancoe (20.1)
Production is up since Frerotte took over.
7. Kevin Boss (33.2)
He was a big disappointment in Week 5 with Burress out.
8. John Carlson (50.3)
Was his goose egg in Week 5 an indication of things to come?
