Wow – good info on that draft. I didn’t take a look at how everything shook out but after seeing what you wrote, I hate the Sanchez pick even more.

Saturday after Saturday I watched Sanchez breeze to victories at Southern Cal because of the talent around him. Now some people wonder why he can’t make big plays in the NFL. I wouldn’t last a millisecond in the NFL but someone please explain to me how Mark Sanchez is a top 5 quarterback. He’d be a perfect backup but as a starter he’s a disaster waiting to happen every week.

Habitual defense mechanism after being accused of disliking him because he’s an outspoken Christian on more than one occasion. Your numbers seem about right.

You know what’s hilarious about the whole Sanchez thing? Have you looked at how that draft went? The first round pick they traded ended up being Josh Freeman, and the second round pick they traded was one spot before LeSean McCoy was picked by the Eagles.

In addition, if they had hypothetically picked McCoy then they wouldn’t have needed to use their third rounder on Shonn Greene. Mike Wallace would have been available at that spot. Granted, that’s all with quite a bit of hindsight, but still.

This is a sport site – I just assume that nothing is personal. I don’t dislike Mark Sanchez as a person either – I don’t even know the man. I’m talking about dislike in the sports sense, which, for all intents and purposes, should be pretty innocent.

My scorecard reads:

Anthony’s dislike for Mark Sanchez the starting quarterback: +999.99

I don’t dislike Tebow the person at all, I dislike Tebow the media phenomenon immensely.

He’s like last year’s Bucs team rolled into a single person.

In answer to #2, I would just point out that the Broncos have beaten exactly one playoff team all year. That was a 2 point win over the less than inspiring Bengals, and it was with Kyle Orton at QB. Their other three games against playoff teams ended in losses by an average margin of just over 26 points.

If Roethlisberger is even at 80%, the Steelers win in a blowout. Frankly I’d probably still pick the Steelers to win if they were starting Batch.
