Ponder nearly led the Vikings to a comeback against the Raiders and if Oakland can’t get healthy then they’ll leave the door open for Denver and San Diego (which still hasn’t made its second-half run yet).

That said, Rivers has always been playing well once the Chargers start their annual ascent up the AFC West standings. And he looks absolutely brutal right now. I mean really, the guy looks shot.
