Does Pete Carroll think the Steelers are old and slow?
It’s pretty funny to watch commentators and writers overreact to week one of the NFL. It happens every year, and this year we had Warren Sapp calling the Steelers “old and slow” after they got whipped on opening day by the Baltimore Ravens.
I guess Sapp can ask Pete Carroll what he thinks of the Steelers after they handled his Seahawks 24-0 today in Pittsburgh.
Beating on the hapless Seahawks doesn’t make the Steelers a lock to repeat as AFC champs, but I think they’re still a team to be reckoned with.
Meanwhile, what the hell is Pete Carroll doing in Seattle? Tarvaris Jackson? Really? They’re paying you almost $7 million per season for that?

7 mil per season? where are u getting ur wack stats from. easy cool 2 mil person for jackson…
Pete Carroll signed a 7 year $33 million contract.
Pete Carroll should be aware that T-Jack was a primary reason that Brad Childress was shown the back door by the Vikings in mid-season 2010. Waiting for TJ to develop as a QB is a farce. Believe me, it ain’t gonna happen, ever! In Minnesota, we fans waited to see an improved Jackson performance with each new season but it NEVER happened, and Sydney Rice had one phenomenally good season (2009) with Bret Favre at QB. Technically Sydney was injured every season he played with the Vikes. PC might be playing Andrew Luck roulette this year but that’s a dangerous game to play if you don’t come out on top. My bet is that PC is not long for the Seahawks world.you’re
Travaris Jackson needs to take a nice, long vacation for the sake of everyone on the Seattle team. No defense can be on the field as long as Seattle’s was yesterday and be effective. Kudos for the defense giving up only 24 points after being on the field nearly 75% of the time.
Jackson looded confused, took too much time, and looked exactly the same as he has been the past 5 years…terrible!
Wake up Pete, stop being a cheerleader and be a leader. Your team’s lack of discipline is resulting in too many careless penalties
Pete Carroll actual contract was for 5 years and 32.5 mil. He is too much of a “rah-rah” cheerleader type and it shows with this team. We need more of a stricter type of coach like Bill Cowher. This Travaris Jackson experiment is not working… maybe he should start the rest of the year so we can get Andrew Luck for next year.
