Dana White vs. Anderson Silva [video]
If you haven’t heard, Dana White was furious with the way Anderson Silva performed at UFC 112.
Silva, who was awarded a unanimous decision, spent much of the 25-minute match dancing — and even occasionally running — around the Octagon, taunting Maia, shaking and shimmying, and refusing to engage his overmatched opponent.
Here is an interview with White after the event…
Silva responds through his translator…

Maybe he thought he was cute or something. Maybe he needs to watch Rachad Evans’ fights. Maybe then he can see how ridiculous he looks. I don’t care if he is so good and so muc better than his opponents that he dosn’t need to engage. He could have ended the fight, since he is so great (cough). I say rip up that 8 fight contract of his and kick him outof the UFC. Who gives a crap if he ever fights again? Who wants to watch some cown fun away from lesser opponents? Dancing and prancing around, like they are so cute or something. This guy acted like an imbecile in my eyes. A blooming imbecile! He also needs to be fined at least half of his purse. The UFC needs to bring in the Yellow Card System when he fights. They (UFC) kick out so many other fighters when they floss (Houston Alexander-for dancing around the cage), so why is Silva any different? Like Dana White stated: he (Silva)won’t apologize for it. He claimed he was insulted morally, and he wanted to send a message; what message was that? He refused to engage. He ran away when Maia attacked. The referee had to warn Silva by telling him if he runs again, the ref will take a point from him. What Champion runs away from his opponents? You will NEVER see Brock Lesnar run away. You’ll never, ever see GSP run from any opponent. This won’t be going away any time soon. Evans is next on my list. Another showboat.
I must apologize for all the misspellings. My keyboard is really acting up badly. Enough that I know I have to get another keyboard. It doesn’t type all the letters I strike, and I just can’t go over every single word, correcting everything and not miss letters here and there. Once I get another keyboard, I promise you: the comments will begin to look more appropriate. Deal?
The thing I hate the most, is after I hit the send key (submit), then I see all the misspelled words. By then it is too late to correct, and there never seems to be a way to remove the blog or comment, and re-write it. So, until I do get a replacement keyboard, this is likely what you’ll be suffering through (see above comment). –rty
