Tebow has rough Senior Bowl week
Tim Tebow just blew his first opportunity to prove to doubters that he can be a quarterback at the next level.
After botching several snaps and struggling with his accuracy during practice this week, Tebow fumbled twice and finished 8-of-12 for just 50 yards in the Senior Bowl on Saturday. Worse yet, his scrambling ability (his forte) was neutralized by Jim Schwartz’s defense.
Granted, Tebow was battling strep throat, so he may deserve a mulligan for his performance this week. But sick or not, the same doubts that scouts have had about him were on full display all week. His mechanics are poor, his wind up motion is troubling and he continues to struggle with his accuracy.
Tebow still has the scouting combine and individual workouts to improve his draft stock, but it was clear this week that he’s a massive project at quarterback.

Why do I get the feeling that everybody is looking for the negative with this guy? Nothing postive is coming out and that’s crap. He’s had a very good Collgege career.
Chill out, he’ll be fine but they have him so thight right now that Brady would look like shit
Runner,
I like Tim Tebow. The highest compliment I can give him is that he is one hell of a football player.
But that doesn’t change the fact that he has some hurdles to overcome to be a quarterback at the next level. I’m not “looking for the negative” – I’m just writing what I and others see.
At least he’s a good guy and someone you can root for. In a T.O. world, guys like Tebo, the Manning brothers, and Warrick Dunn are few and far between. Finding a way to use Tebow will be a positive for the NFL. They said the same negatives about Phillip Rivers and how’s he making out these days?
Norman Bates and his mother could play better football.
I love the kid but don’t see him being a star in the NFL. I hope I am wrong but I see him as a solid back up that can come in and run the wildcat, but for the most part manage a game if he is called upon.
Many so-called “experts” didn’t even have Brady being drafted. Kurt Warner wasn’t considered an NFL quality quarterback. I hope Tebow goes in the later rounds to take some of the pressure off. Once he gets some NFL caliber coaching I think he’s going to surprise everyone. Of course, he’ll be judged on his first season, if not his first game.
