OMG this is the worst list i have ever seen.
I’m a golfer and even I didn’t know that Tiger VS Phil was a big rivalry.
by ther way the title’s wrong, it should read “6 greatest US sports rivalries”

no matter how good or how bad either team is Michigan vs Ohio State is the #1 rivalry no doubt about it.

My #1 greatest sports rivalry of any decade is Army vs. Navy football. They don’t need U2 or Springsteen at halftime. They don’t need endzone dances by diva receivers or runningbacks. They bring their own artillery so you don’t need fireworks displays. All you get is well played, disciplined, fundamental football the way it was meant to be, and the ultimate in sportsmanship. They beat each other’s brains out for 60 minutes then sing each other alma maters and go off to defend our country. You probably don’t know any of their names, but you should. They play for nothing more than honor and the love of the game. Every father should watch this game every year with their kids.

Michigan vs Ohio State is one of the great all-time rivalries, but not this decade. Michigan dominated the 90′s and the Buckeyes have completely dominated this past decade in the Jim Tressel era. Michigan football has hit a new low under RichRod so it shouldn’t be in this list.
