I don't know about teams coming off byes, but I know teams going into their byes had a losing record coming into the week.

That changed a little bit with the Steelers, Patriots and Bengals all winning yesterday, although the Chiefs and Bucs both lost and the Skins will probably fall tonight.

No joke re the Gints. I've been an eternal defender of their schedule so far but it's hard for NFL fans to see them face to "real" teams and lose tragically both times.

It looks like their only real accomplishments so far have been routing the Raiders (which the Eagles obviously had trouble doing), shutting out the Buccs, and the close Cowboys victory earlier in the season.

I might still pick them against the Eagles next week, but does anyone have any stats on teams coming off byes this season? It has to be 8-4 or something.
