Rich Rod bailing on WVU and joining the greatest football tradition of all time in no way is all blame on Rich Rod. He isnt the one who came to Mich AD and said, “hey please hire me, I really want bail here at West Viginia…” How can you be pissed at anyone that leaves their second rate program and join the best football program in all of college? I mean West Virginia or Michigan??? you guys are freaks… With all the negativity he gets from his own “fans” I am suprised he is even still around… Yea Leach is really over reacting here… Llyod is retired and can do what he wants with who he wants but you guys are the real cancer to the team… and who really cares what a Marshall fan has to say about Michigan anyway??? Marshall is the mule in a horse race…

As an alum of The Thundering Herd and a former resident of “Almost Heaven”, I had mixed feelings when Dick Rod took off for Michigan. I was thankful he would no longer be around to run up the score against Marshall, but it hurt to see him bail on the state’s flagship university. Particularly hurtful was the awful timing which proved disastrous to the Mountaineer’s BCS hopes. Dirtbag move and unforgiveable.
Now, if Lloyd Carr were a closet WVU fan and could no longer suppress those sharp pangs of betrayal, then the long fingered salute he allegedly tossed in Dick-Rod’s face was wholely justified. In sum, Leach backed the mule in a horse race.

I agree – Leach is overreacting here. Carr has done nothing to undermine Rich-Rod, who is looking like a fool all on his own.
