I always agreed that trading Marion was the worst action the Suns could have taken.  Marion&#039;s right that no matter what was going on behind the scenes, he was still playing ball about as well as he could have.  Plus, he was always far and away the best and most versatile defender they had.  Everyone wants to give Nash his due credit for making the offense work so well, but failed to recognize Marion&#039;s role on the defensive end.

I wonder if Marion&#039;s playing style will hold up late into his career.  Most people don&#039;t think it will, using his recent down years as evidence.  Let&#039;s see if some stability helps get him back to normal.</description>
