Just because this involves a self-proclaimed political leader, doesn’t make it a political issue. The NFL has the right to pick and choose who their franchise owners are just like McDonalds, Starbuck’s, and Taco Bell, and are under no obligation to provide reason for denial. Are NFL owners hypocrites? Absolutely…they’ve been denying jobs to coaches for racist reasons for decades so one would think Rush would be a perfect fit. Maybe NFL owners feel, with Dan Snyder and Jerry Jones in their “club” they’ve aleady filled their quota of assholes?

Are we arguing about whether or not Rush Limbaugh has proven himself to be a misogynist and a racist or whether or not he’s a better person than Mike Vick or Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson? All four are extremely flawed human beings.

Dawg & DaBear, you seem to think he’s not a racist, despite the mountain of evidence (easily obtained by simple internet search) to the contrary, and that’s fine. If you don’t think what he has said is racist or if you agree with his views, that’s your right. But despite his huge audience, a majority of the country has an unfavorable opinion of the man and that’s his own doing. This is why the ownership group dumped him.

Like I said before, he has every right to try to buy the Rams and the NFL has every right to say, “Thanks, but no thanks.”

That’s all I have to say on the matter.

I don’t see the problem. Rush wanted to buy in. The NFL doesn’t want to do business with him. Where’s the issue?

Should they be compelled to do so?

First of all, he didn’t play it on his show for “Christ’s sake”, he did it to be sarcastic and funny! Guess you are referring to the kind of stuff that we regularly see on Saturday Night Live or David Letterman. But, that’s ok. It’s all in the eye of the perceiver, and believe me, a good portion of the country does not see Rush Limbaugh as a racist. His show is full of sarcasm throughout. Lighten up, and worry more about your Congress that is going to pass a bill and they have turned down the opportunity for all of us to read it for 72 hours before passing. THAT is something the NFL and all fans should worry about. We’re losing our country and people are worried about Rush Limbaugh playing a tape of “Barack the Magic Negro” sung by a black man. Give me a break. The NFL tries too hard to be politically correct!!

You mean the Parody where another black guy sings “Barack the Magic Negro?” That one? Yea, I heard of that….and also did my homework on it.

So, did Rush kill anybody? Kill dogs? Shoot up casinos and cause somebody to be a crippled for the rest of their lives?

How about if Al or Jesse wanted in on the Rams, that ok?

Just do an internet search. There are plenty of tape/quotes of Rush saying racist and/or misogynistic things. He played “Barack the Magic Negro” song on his show, for Christ’s sake. You may not see them as racist or misogynistic, but a good portion of the country does (or would) and that’s what the NFL is worried about.

Here in the Union of Obama Socialist Republic, a man is no longer able to make a capitalist investment without “stellar” citizens like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton (non-racists of course) tearing you apart with lies and hear-say comments. NO ONE has been able to produce copy or tape of any of these alleged comments made by Rush Limbaugh. Call me old fashioned, but in the old America you could not just go around slanderizing someone with made up accusations, just because you didn’t like someone’s politics. Just my opinion, and I stand by our old freedom of speech…….God Bless America.
