As a Lions fan, I wasn't all that impressed with the Bears offense. They got the ball at midfield on every possession because of the dismal play of the Lions special teams. That kick return for a touchdown to open the second half completely turned the game over to Chicago. Matt Forte had a big run on his first and last carry, but was limited to nothing inbetween while Cutler had just 100 yards passing for most of the game. I think Chicago was the better team, but I also think the Lions shot themselves in the foot.

I agree with the bend don't break attitude John but if you watch the week 1 mishap with Greg Jennings you'll notice Kevin Payne bit on the play and he was supposed to help Vasher in coverage. It wasn't entirely his fault. They got burned today in the first half by Calvin Johnson, but adjusted in the second half by having Tillman shadow him and Danieal Manning come up for help. The Bears defense was much much better in the second half

I think unfortunatly the Bears
are going to be compared to week1 the whole season. Cutler did look bad, but Vasher was burned on a pass to loose that Green Bay game.
In all the times the bears dont play cover two.

Any Bears fan knows that the games will be closely played and Lovie Smith's bend dont break attidude makes them appear less talented than they are.
its a shame.
