If you think about it, if not for that last second miracle, the 49ers would be undefeated with victories over last year's NFC champion, and the highly touted Vikings. That's an argument (albeit a somewhat misleading one since the Cardinals don't appear to be what they were) for being one of the better teams in the NFC. "Ifs" don't matter, of course, but at the very least the 49ers have shown that when they play their best, they can be tough. Now it's just a matter of consistency. It wasn't perfect but they have a good attitude in terms of how they approach the game. Mike singletary is having a good impact on the team. I am proud to be a 9ers fan.
