This game does a lot to further the legitimacy of the San Francisco 49ers, even though they lost. If you think about it, if not for that last second miracle, the 49ers would be undefeated with victories over last year's NFC champion, and the highly touted Vikings. That's an argument (albeit a somewhat misleading one since the Cardinals don't appear to be what they were) for being one of the better teams in the NFC. "Ifs" don't matter, of course, but at the very least the 49ers have shown that when they play their best, they can be tough. Now it's just a matter of consistency. That will tell us if they really have what it takes, especially with Gore out for the next few weeks.

Even though they lost i'm still proud because they played a good game. It wasn't perfect but they have a good attitude in terms of how they approach the game. Mike singletary is having a good impact on the team. I am proud to be a 9ers fan. I do wish we were undefeated though but it's all good....
