The VTech game will be a nice test to see just where this team is on it's progress through the Saban "Process" but don't look for too many surprises. The defense will definitely be tough. from the practice reports, you gotta think that ANY offensive line that spent the spring, summer, and fall going up against Cody, Washington, & Deadrick is going to be ready for the season. The perception that McElroy must somehow be less capable than Parker-Wilson or he wouldn't have spent the last three years as a back-up is a bit jaded. Word is, there just wasn't a great deal of separation between the two last season. JPW got the nod primarily because of experience & a comfort level. McElroy will likely prove to be at least as good of a game manager and reportedly is more talented. I wouldn't worry too much about Bama's offense loosing games for the Tide...
