In a country where hard working Americans get 3 and 4% raises (if they’re lucky) and make pennies in a year compared to what these guys make per game, crap like this is a little hard to swallow. Not to mention, he’s already under contract. Go flip burgers somewhere if you don’t like the $2M+ that you’re due to make this year, Roddy. You had 1 good season.

Good call, John.

He deserves to be paid because he’s been highly productive the past two years. But Fitz-type money? Come on, Roddy. Your first two years in the league were duds and you can’t blame the Falcons for wanting to show you Jennings-money compared to Fitz-money.

but he sure hasnt proven to be Larry Fitz.

Top 15 reciever, maybe, but not #1 money.
Cant blame these guys for trying to get paid but makes you wonder about their own perception of themselves.
