Vick committed a crime and he has paid his debt to society. How come the guy can't leave prison and return to his career, if an employer wishes to hire his services. Yes it is a priviledge, not a right to play in the NFL. However, the teams will ultimately be the ones who makes the final decision. Riot, you and this writer need to just let go. It was despicable and immoral, but my main point is that the fan base can look the other way when another human being's life is taken away by one of these thugs. But when Vick does the horrible things he did to animals an angry mob with pitch forks are ready to storm the NFL offices. Seems to me as if we have our priorities slightly askew. Again what he did was appaling, but does he need to be crucified for it? I am not condoning what he did. Vick does have baggage, but he didn't run someone over with a car, he wasn't an accomplice in a murder charge, and he didn't carry a loaded weapon into a night club and subsequently shoot himself.
