He is cycling steroids. When his test comes back negative after the last cycle, he will announce he is returning. He doesnt want Manning to catch up and surpass his records. Every year farve plays is another extra year Peyton has to play to pass him. Football isnt baseball with records, I mean how many people know the guy with the 2nd most career yards as a running back. You dont get better with age without help, ala bonds or clemens. You dont have three bad years, farve, and come back to superstar status. The NFL can't test you for steroids when you are retired.
