Yo anthony you know i couldnt go one night without commenting on your mock draft so here goes...

First and foremost i like the bucs pick at #19 and wouldnt be shocked if that happened. The original pick was freeman but since leftwich is now here and also i think the bucs are sold that josh johnson is the qb of the future drafting freeman would be a mistake.. and maybin would be great cause tampa did struggle in both pass and rush defenses especially towards the end of the year...Curveball..With Jermaine Phillips now going to LB which means Tanard Jackson and Sabby Piscitelli will be the Safties...Dont be shocked if first year head coach Raheem Morris Looks at Vonte Davis CB/Illinois..With Ronde Barber being the only DB left from the old tampa regime..Plus he lost a step from the past couple of years..AND Raheem was the bucs DB coach.. The combo of Davis and Talib would be a nice combo..

I still think the Raiders even though it seems macklin will go there should really look and Andre Smith..With Tom Cable being the former O-Line Coach of Oakland it would be nice for Smith to go here...It would give Russell soem protection and It would open some hole for Run DMC and Michael Bush who snapped off at the end of the year..

But i think the most intresting team in all this who just made themselves really good are the Eagles..After the speculation of them getting Anquan Boldin...Them trading a 1st rounder for Jason Peters and getting a need they may not have had thinking Oher would be there at 21...gives them some good options...I like the pettigrew pick..But i can see them getting Hakeem Nicks from UNC a possesion receiver they dont have, Kenny Britt from Rutgers..who is whooing scouts and if he is on the board if Minnesota doesnt take him..And Knowshon Moreno RB/ Georgia..At some point they are going to realize that Brian Westbrook is going to be there forever and this helps them out for the future...

Cant Wait for 3.0!!

CaptainFoxboro - thanks for the compliments and your sharing your comments. It's nice to have readers who can share their opinions without calling the writer a "chode" or insinuating that he's an idiot!

You bring up some great points. Last year a lot of pundits that Houston would go running back at No. 18, but they traded back and landed Duane Brown (OT). So I could definitely see them going defense with an immediate need at outside linebacker (and safety for that matter, although they would be reaching for one that high).

I'm not sold on Sanchez to Denver either. To be honest, I'm baffled at where Sanchez will end up and I think anyone who has done a mock of the first round is, too. I agree with your point about McDaniels believing he can mold Orton or Simms and therefore passing on a single caller in the first round. I could see Denver going with Maualuga with one of their picks in efforts to shore up the run defense.

Again, thanks for reading and commenting and be sure to check out my final mock the week of the draft. I look forward to your reading your opinions again.

Hey Anthony ...interesting Mock - I especially like the way you call out some of the readers for their "ass clown " comments. For the most part -I think you did as well as anybody out there today-however I think the Texans will continue to build via their D - and I am not sold on the McDaniels / Sanchez mating scenario ... I think that "he thinks " he can mold either Orton / Simms into his kind of "system qb " ( whatever the "F " that overused term means ) The Broncs D was soooooo decrepid last year - I believe they're almost forced to usher in the post - Shanahan era by using their first 3 or 4 picks on D

Matt Ryan - I liked Clint Sintim for the Falcons in my first mock too, but I had him going to the Patriots one spot before. In this mock, I jumped Jenkins up two spots to New England, which made Sintim available for Atlanta at No. 24.

I think Sintim is a better overall prospect than Matthews and certainly has a higher ceiling. My only hesitation in going with Sintim for the Falcons is that D. Orlando Ledbetter of the AJC has them taking Sintim too and for anyone that follows his coverage, he can be hit and miss with any kind of projection!

I like the new pick for the Jets, I hope those other mocks are wrong that have them picking a QB.

Ah t-rav, yet another commenter who can't read, write or spell.

2007 - 6 WRs went in the first round.
2004 - 7 WRs went in the first round.
2001 - 6 WRs went in the first round.
2000 - 5 WRs went in the first round.

I would go back further, but if you're too lazy to do your home work then I'm not going to put in the effort either, you undeniable ass clown.
