Damn Gus - do you normally blow your load when you can correct someone's mistake or was this your first experience?

Thank you for the correction, but relax...

Gus - Good catch. I corrected it for Thomas.

But is there really a need to call him names? It was an honest mistake...like you haven't made any in your life...

You are thinking of Steve Courson, not Steve Furness who was the 'admitted steroid abuser'.

Get your facts straight, you hack.

I disagree. It is hard to compare statistics from different eras in football. Actually, statistics are very misleading in football as they can make a mediocre talent like Gina Torreta win a Heisman because he was surrounded by superior talent.

Baseball, on the other hand, is broken down into individual battles. Once the ball leaves the pitcher's hand, baseball reduces to a man, a bat, a ball. Regardless of era. Part of baseball's lure is the ability to compare players v. the all-time greats. This steroids mess tarnishes this entire era and destroys the greatest strength of the game.
