At the end of November, I would have said that Z deserved to go. At that point, he was averaging 16 points and eight rebounds, but he started to fade in December and eventually got injured.

I think Mo is a victim of AI's popularity, LeBron's rep and his own defensive rep. None of it is justified, but there are only so many spots and it's hard to tell the coaches that they should give Mo the nod over Jameer given the numbers.

I think you're right -- they both deserve to go, even though the numbers say Nelson was more deserving. Maybe I'm biased as a Cavs fan, but you'd think the team with the best record in the league would have more than one representative. The tough part is, after Williams and LBJ, nobody else on the Cavs has the numbers to warrant an All Star selection. If Mo was a forward, I bet he gets the nod over Lewis.

Of course, the cynical Cleveland fan in me would whine about a lack of respect, but when Iverson cock-blocked Mo, his chances of joining LeBron in Phoenix went way down.
