		<description>T-Bone - No, I don&#039;t think the powers-that-be want to consider a playoff, but they are no doubt under plenty of pressure to do so, especially now since President-elect Obama has chimed in with his support of a playoff.

Every fan that supports the idea of a playoff should be rooting for the messiest finish possible to the college football season. The messier the better, because that will continue to put the pressure on the BCS to switch to a playoff system. It isn&#039;t going to happen soon, but it may happen eventually if we continue to have finishes like the one this season.

Here&#039;s a breakdown of my eight-team playoff proposal:

		<description>John...do you think the BCS governance is actually considering a playoff scenario for the future?  Not just a +1 game, but an actual tournament?  These guys are totally missing the boat.  I haven&#039;t looked at bowl ratings but would think an 8-team, 7 bowl championship tournament would draw more than all of the current bowls combined.  Not to mention, lend credibility to an organization that could use some.</description>
