JP, this week is a must win for me in order to get into playoff…
I need your help to look at my line up
QB – P.Manning – I have S.Rosenfels as my back-up, should I pick up J.Garcia? Manning should be a safe start right?
WRs – J.Cotchery, B.Marshall, M.Harrison, or should I pick up S.Breaston? or J.Gage? T.Holt? P.Crayton? Which 2 would you go for?
RBs – S.Slaton, B.Jacobs, K.Faulk, J.Stewart? or should I pick up M.Morris? C.Buckhalter? J.Fargas? L.McClain? F.Jones? P.Thomas? Which 2 would you go for?
TE – O.Daniels or T.Scheffler? or should I pick up J.Stevens? or B.Miller? or J.Shockey?
DEF – Pitt should I pick up Dallas? or Arizona? Buffalo?

Totally revamped my team for this week. I have a few questions.
Pick 2 RB’s:
1. Frank Gore
2. Steve Slaton
3. Lendale White
Pick 3 WR’s:
1. Antonio Bryant
2. Eddie Royal
3. Coles
4. Vincent Jackson
WR need 2: Vincent Jackson, Marques Colston, Eddie Royal, or Bernard Berrian
RB need 2: Adrian Peterson, Thomas Jones, Chris Johnson
DEF: NYJ, GB or WASH
…and none of you let me know if you are in a PPR league…
Bob – Manning is a safe start, but I would pick up Garcia for Rosenfels. Just in case something were to happen to Peyton, Garcia has an easier schedule to close the season. At WR, Harrison has underperformed on the road, so I would go with Cotch and B. Marshall. At RB, Slaton and Jacobs (if he plays). I think I’d rather have Morris, Thomas (if it looks like Bush will miss another week), Fargas and McClain over Faulk & Stewart this week. So I’d start one of those guys at flex. At TE, Daniels has a good matchup with a sketchy Jags defense on MNF, so I’d go with him. On D, it’s tough to go away from the Steelers, but they look to have a rough matchup this week at NE. If you have the roster space, BUF would be a nice start this week at home against SF.
GMC21 – On DT, Dallas seems like the best choice. At QB, I’d go with Sage. The GB defense seems to play a lot better at home.
Dennis – Gore and Slaton. White didn’t get hardly any action last week. At WR, Coles and Bryant are probably must-starts out of that group due to the matchup. After that it’s a tossup – Jackson or Royal. I guess I’d go with the guy that has been in the hotter offense of late – VJ.
Lamareo – At WR, Berrian has a great matchup with his former team, and like with Dennis’ team, I think I’d go with VJ over Royal, because he’s been better of late. Colston has been spotty all year and TB has a tough D. At RB, I’d go with AP and TJ. On defense, I’d go with the hottest unit – NYJ. DEN is struggling offensively, so I think the Jets are your best bet.

Alex – I think I would start Thigpen. He has been a very good fantasy QB over the last month or so. You can’t say that about either of the other guys.
WR: Is this a PPR league? I think I’d go with Jackson, Ward and Ginn, though Bryant and Mason are solid plays as well.
RB: MJD and C. Johnson. Moore and Westy aren’t bad starts either but MJD has been hot and I think CJ will play well against DET.
On defense – I’d go with MIA.
Hi John,
I am in a ppr League. I need a few suggestions on my line up this week.
Which would you choose. Ronnie Brown vs Jamal Lewis(both kind of piss me off lol). I have Thomas Jones in my other slot.
For wr I have Steve Smith, steVe Breaston, and Hines ward in my active slot. Do you suggest for me to put issac Bruce in for any of these guys?
For tight end I have Dustin Kellor(great for the last 3 weeks) and Owen Daniels(sucks the last 3 weeks). SHould I stick with Kellor?

Ryan – Thank you for letting me know about the PPR format. I would keep your WRs as they are and start Keller at TE. He’s been great. At RB, it’s a tough call (and I personally feel your pain with Jamal), but I would go with Ronnie Brown. They both have great matchups, but I think Brown is the more talented back and the Dolphins’ offense is clicking a lot better than the Browns’ offense is.

Thanks JP! My league go by 1 pt per 10 yards for WR, and 1 pt per 15 yards for RB.
For Kicker, I know it is a crabshoot, but who do you think has higher chance to score more…
I have S.Gostkowski… but they are playing against the number 1 defense… I’m concern that it maybe a low scoring game…
J.Carney, do you think he will play? Will he be a better option? Or S.Janikowski playing against KC… What about M.Bryant or N.Rackers? D.Akers? or G.Hartley?

Alex – If you come back, I’m recommending Garcia over Thigpen now. The OAK pass defense has been great of late.
Dane – I hate to bench Dwayne Bowe right now, but with a bad matchup against Oakland, I think I’d start the other three. At RB, I believe I would go with Slaton and LJ. Hightower is also worth considering, but he hasn’t produced much in the way of yardage lately. LJ has a great matchup and Slaton should have a nice game with A. Green out. At TE, it’s close – but you should stick with Witten. He has more upside than Scaife. On DT, I think TB is the best play. They have been great this year.
Bob – I think Gostkowski, Bryant or Hartley are solid starts.
Big Snizz – Harrison has been pretty brutal on the road, but I think he has a better chance to score than Breaston does. At RB, Jamal has a great matchup with Indy and might get some extra touches since he vented this week to the media. I would also start Westy.
My team fighting for playoff positioning who do I start in a head to head no ppr?
QB: McNabb, Garcia, or Thigpen pick one
RB: Turner, Hightower,Mcallister(if he plays), or Fargas pick two
WR: T.O., Wayne, Vincent Jackson, or Bowe pick three
DST: Minny or Carolina
I think McNabb will bounce back.
I’d go with Turner and Hightower at RB.
TO, Wayne and Bowe at WR.

Mike – If Bush doesn’t play, I think Thomas is your best bet. If he does play, I think I’d go with White just because he’s likely to get a couple goal line carries after complaining about his touches last week. If you just need some points, Jackson might be a safer bet (than White).

At QB – I’d go with Rodgers – Cutler scares me right now.
Geo – Gore and Dunn – at WR, I’d go with the 4 WRs (3 starting WRs and one flex).

Harrison or Royal?
Ryan – Tough to say who’s your best bet at WR. None of them have been consistent this season. I think Holt probably has the best chance for a good game this week.
At K, I’d go with Kaeding – but it’s a crapshoot.
John – I’d recommend Royal. Harrison has been brutal on the road this season.

NOT in a PPR League. Trying to fill 1 WR spot, choices are Bowe, Colston or A. Bryant. Bryant currently has the spot given Bowe’s matchup and Colston’s inconsitency. Thoughts?

Ok Here is My long question question I am in a PPR League- I have 3 WR Spots To fill- 2 RB spots and a WR/RB Spot Right now I have my WR Reggie Wayne, Randy Moss, and Lance Moore…..I have Antonio Bryant on the bench…. My Two RB spots I have Deangelo Williams and frank Gore, with Steve Slaton on the bench.. in my WR/RB Spot I have Hines Ward- My question is should I miss that up at all? Should I play Slaton over hines ward? Or Slaton over Gore? etc Should I put Bryant in instead of R Moss? WHat is your optimal Line up for me in your Opinion? Thanks!!!

Jhon – I would play Slaton over Hines Ward. Tough to bench Hines, but Slaton should have a nice game against JAX. Otherwise your lineup looks solid.

I got two issues.. (.5 per reception league..) I got VJ, Eddie Royal and Bernard Berrian (need one)…Tight end I got Keller, and Cooley
TW – I’d go with the Bears defense, Faulk and Ward.
Mike – Hillis & Colston. Hixon is tempting, but Colston is the better player.
Anon – Royal is hobbled, so it’s down to Berrian and Jackson. I thought Berrian was going to have a nice week last week and he didn’t. VJ has been playing better of late, so I would go with him. At TE, Keller has been playing great and has a better matchup. I’d use him.
I’m down by 19 points going into tonight and if I lose I’m out of the playoffs. I would like your opinion on which running back I should start or would give me the best possible chance of getting 2 TD’s and 90 tards rushing and/or receiving. I have Slaton and Jones-Drew. Who should I start?
TD – 6 points
10yrds rushing or receiving – 1 point
Mike, that’s a tough call, but I would go with MJD because I think he has the better opportunity for a multiple TD game, and that’s probably what you need.
Slaton only has 1 TD in his last four games and one multi-TD game all year. Conversely, MJD has nine TD in his last seven games.
With Ahman Green out, Slaton will get more goal line opportunities, but I still think MJD is the better play.
Aw, Mike, I’m sorry my advice didn’t work out. Although the Slaton TD was kind of a fluke (off of the fumble), he should have had one earlier in the game.
I thought the Jags would show some pride on MNF after being dismantled last week against MIN. But this team has packed it in.
I can only hope you didn’t take my advice.
