I don't understand his reasoning about McCarthy. So going with Rodgers was or wasn't a good decision? Given his overall play, I think most people would agree that it was a good decision. So why do he and Ted Thompson "look like fools"? That just doesn't make any sense. The Packers are 4-5 because of undisciplined play, a lack of a strong running game, and injuries to the defense (Al Harris and Nick Barnett). McCarthy can be called out for the first two, but not for trading Favre away. The more I read of Whitlock, the less I like him. I don’t understand his reasoning about McCarthy.
