Here's my question: what kind of effect would this have on how teams assemble their schedules? Would this motivate schools to schedule a couple more challenging games, or just the opposite? I love the playoff idea, but I don't want to see teams give themselves powder puff schedules in order to guarantee they're in the top eight at year's end.

There will be a lot less "to do" about the #9, #10 #11 teams that don't get in than there currently is about the #3, #4 and #5 teams that don't make the championship game.

I love the enthusiasm but how are you going to decide the top eight teams, Obama?

It's a great idea, but I would like to hear what his plan would be to accomplish this.
