I didn't mean to sound like I was defending Bud - I just meant he said the right thing by saying he wouldn't have allowed the Phillies to win had the game been decided on an official rule. I agree - they allowed to let the game go on way too far and it cost Philly. I agree. Selig is is a blabbering idiot. He should have called that game in the fifth inning when the rain started to fall at it's heaviest. The game was NOT suspended before it became comical. Rollins had no chance catching a routine fly ball, Hamels was unable to stop Upton from stealing second base. He luckily didn't break his ankle rounding third.
