  I think I’d go with Gore, Slaton and Rodgers. Slaton has the Lions and Rodgers is the top fantasy QB right now.

  and should I worry about starting Earnest Graham? The selfless Graham is hurting his fantasy value… should I start Jonathan Stewart over him?

  I would keep Daniels, Shockey and Scheff in that order.

  I think Graham will be OK. Gruden indicated that leaving him at fullback was not a good option.

  Defensively, I’d start PIT. CIN is in more trouble than CLE and PIT is the better DT.

  1st) I currently have Santanio Holmes, I See Braylon Edwards, Anquan Boldin, Calvin Johnson, Derrik Mason, Eddie Royal on the Waiver? Should I get any of them? I am “5″ out of 13 on the waiver.
  Thoughts?
  2nd) Who should I start?
  WR – Santana Moss, Steve Smith, Vincent Jackson,
  Santanio Holmes, (Pick 3)
  RB – Earenest Graham, DeAngelo Williams, Steven Jackson, (Pick 2)
  QB – Kyle Orton, Matt Schaub (Pick 1)

  Um, Braylon Edwards, Anquan Boldin and Calvin Johnson are on your waiver wire? I’d take any of those guys over Vincent Jackson (and Santonio Holmes). Boldin is out for the time being, and Calvin got knocked around pretty good last week (but should play). I’d start Smith, Moss and whomever you can pick up (Edwards/Calvin) or Holmes, if you end up keeping him. Chris Chambers is back so Vincent’s value is hurt.

  RB – Jackson, Graham (more consistent than Williams)

  QB – Schaub (better matchup)

  With McNabb Edge Turner and hightower on bye and the matchup problem with Bowe who do I go with at these positons

  Should i try to get Anquoin or Braylon on the waiver wire? Who do you prefer from the Waiver if you wanted to try for both and in which order. It doesn’t matter if they are on are a bye or injured, I am trying to be ahead of the curve.

  Sorry Bob, skipped over your post:

  I’d go with Garcia at QB, nice matchup.

  Pittman for sure at RB, along with McAllister probably (since Reggie is nicked up).

  at WR, I’d go with TO, Wayne and Bowe. Chambers is back so that hurts Vincent. Bowe has had solid weeks against good competition, especially in PPR leagues.

  Okay, so basically like I prdicted I didn’t get any of the my waiver selections. Did I make a stupid move by dropping Vincent Jackson for Derrick Mason, and should I try to get Vicent Jackson back if he becomes a FA on Sunday. The Waiver clears on Sunday.

  Raj – Is this a PPR league, if so, I think Mason is worth more. If not, I think I’d rather have V-Jax.

  Your thoughts on trade offer I just received (PPR league):

  I get: A Rodgers, G Jennings, A Peterson (MIN)
  I give: P Manning, R Wayne, S Slaton

  To be honest, I will get killed for week 8 if I make this trade (all have week 8 byes), and I personally like Slaton’s upcoming matchups a lot, espeically those during playoff weeks (14-16). Not to mention I trust Peyton a lot more than A-Rodg for the rest of the year and thus that makes me like Reggie a bit more altough Jennings is a stud. And obviously all three I would be trading away are done with their byes already. (remaining roster: LT, Roddy White, C Cooley)

  Your analysis of the trade is spot on. You’re giving up strength of schedule and dependability at QB and WR for an upgrade at RB from Slaton to Peterson. Plus, you’d have to deal with bye weeks for your incoming players. I think I’d stick with the crew you’ve got. Peyton is more dependable than Rodgers and Wayne is more dependable than Jennings (probably). Is it worth giving that up to upgrade from Slaton to Peterson, who is injury prone himself and has a tougher schedule? I don’t think so.

  Also, don’t forget that GB fantasy numbers usually tail off later in the season as the team plays in colder and colder weather. That’s not the case for Indy or Houston.

  Shaun – Assuming he plays (he’s listed as Q), Berrian is the better start against a shaky CHI pass defense. CAR is excellent against WRs.

  Raj – Long term, I think Vincent has a little more value because of Chambers’ bad ankle. There’s a chance it could linger or he could re-aggravate it. There’s also a chance that Colston could miss time too, but I feel that Jackson has a better hold on the SD WR2 than Moore does on the NO WR2. Don’t be heartbroken if you can’t land VJ as Moore is a nice guy to have as well.
