Boy would I hate to see Tony go. I understand it, but would sure hate it! I think there are many others - not players that should go. Why on earth did we make Tony wait a week to get his record on the road in a miserable game when he could have celebrated at home....fans wanted it and I am sure Tony did also. That was a demonstration of no concern by the coaches of the players, team and fans. Just no concern at all. Then, when I think Herm has shown how unconcerned he can be, we get a shut out in Carolina just because. We are on the 20 yard line - 4th down and go for the first down. Come on - we weren't playing to win by that point. What was he thinking? I simple field goal would have kept us from being shut out - again, giving the players and fans something. But no.....Herm just lets us go with a big fat 0.....I can't imagine how frustrating it is to be a player for him. Maybe it isn't Herm - but he is the head coach so the responsibility is his. Since he doesn't seem to be trying to change that - one can only deduce that it is his philosophy. I have had my season tickets for 25 years and have always been proud to support our Chiefs. Last year I almost gave them up......this year, I feel that it might be my obligation to do so. If enough people do, maybe something will change. I don't expect a good team to just appear - I am good with a rebuilding...but for heaven' sake, an embarrasing team is beneath the players - they are much better than that. We have a coaching problem more than a young team problem. Any idiot knows that if you run up the middle without success 3 times in a row and punt over and over you will not change the outcome....isn't that the definition of insanity - continue with the same action over and over and anticipate a different outcome....please......that just is wrong. thanks for allowing a place to vent! I love our Chiefs - I just really dislike the coaching and leadership that is incharge. It is not worth the price of my tickets.
