Rodriguez can take his chances with the Cy Young, where he will also lose out to Cliff Lee. If the voting for MVP takes place the Friday before the conclusion of the season, then it would be wise to see how the Phillies are doing. Ryan Howard should be a shoo-in if they nail down the top spot in the NL East or have qualified for the playoffs. It's Justin Pedroia in the AL.
