Kerri walsh is clearly better! She proved it by winning “Best of the beach” in 2006. Kerri walsh is dominant, she’s the best blocker, she got best hitter 2 or 3 times in a row by the fivb tour… Kerri walsh can do it all!

May-Treanor is the more valuable player, because Walsh isn’t that much better than other world-class hitters, whereas Misty is by far the best defender around. So take the second-best team in the world, say one of the Chinese or Brazilian teams. Then swap teammates so that you have Misty + Somebody vs Kerri + Somebody Else. I say Misty’s team wins because Kerri isn’t going to be “Kerri” with Somebody Else setting for her, rather than Misty.

Hands down Kerri is the best player of the 2. Misty May is very good but watching them play Kerri can take over a game and makes few mistakes.

Tough call. I’m a little more impressed by Misty’s talent, but Kerri’s height makes her hard to replace.

Clearly, Kerri is better… no one has ever been as dominant as she is in the sport.

Without a doubt, Misty May-Treanor is a better all-around volleyball player. Re-watch her performance on Monday, as she dominated the Brazilians in the first set.
