With the background of Manhattan to the left and planes flying low over Long Island Sound into LaGuardia on such a clear night was pretty cool...... I was also within a few hundred feet of the new Citifield.....Looks really nice! Could see them setting up for the Billy Joel concerts inside Shea, too. Ahh, New York on a hot summer night..... As for the game , I thought it was great, had some drama in just about every inning and both Coach's did a nice job...Kind of felt sorry for Uggla, that ball does find you when you're having a bad night. Hat's off to the 49 H o F players, some I haven't seen in years, some I thought were long gone? And finally, it was good to see Mr Stienbrenner, The Boss out there. Love him or hate him he has given alot to this sport... I hung in there until 1:10 am and only got through 13 of the 15 innings. When are they going to do something about these hours? Even those high-priced ticketholders left during that historic game.
