I love it! As a New Yawker, I hate the Knicks and so I thought this was the perfect season. Can\'t wait for the Nets to move to Brooklyn!

I definitely think that the Bulls were a better fit, but this is as good of a hire as the Knicks could expect given the current roster and recent history there. I think he's a good coach - not defensively, but he'll at least turn the Knicks into a good offensive team.

I think he did well in Phoenix. They would probably have won the title last year had Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw kept their cool and stayed on the bench in Game 5.

I agree - Marbury is gone (if they can find a taker).

I don't like the hire. This dude is gonna sack $24 million and be gone in 2 years - and he keeps the money. He couldn't make Phoenix a Champion with all that talent. The defense never improved ........ Look at the Knicks grease fire - holy crap. He couldn't stand Starberry in Phoenix - he will unload him for more garbage. This is a messed-up organization. It's a typical N Y Sports team - Less bang for your buck. he should have went to the more talented Bulls for a mill less a year.

New York is dying for somebody to be the savior. There's probably not a more attractive city to play for in sports - as well as more pressure-packed. It would be nice to see the Knicks turn things around. I loved watching them go at it with the Bulls in the mid-90s.
