The Lakers have had a great season, and plenty of commentary has been devoted to just how good they are with the addition of Pau Gasol. I just find it odd how wonderful things are just a few short months after his temper tantrum. I find it front-running and shortsighted to not address the past when analyzing the present and future. Had he publicly apologized for throwing Bynum and Kupchak under the bus instead of taking credit for Bynum's improvement and Kupchak's motivation to improve his team, I might cut him some slack.
