I think McFadden is the flashiest prospect, but I don't see many teams jumping all the way up to No. 1 to get him. Those rumors about Jerry Jones wanting to trade up to get McFadden seem dead and the RB class this year has some decent depth.

Good points guys. Maybe the Fish should take MacFadden at one then trade him. he is the only player with Flash or star power. If you are going to pay top dollar for a number one and no one will trade up for him. Maybe you can purchase him - then trade out ... either in later draft picks of active players. It\'s really not an envious position to be in. Lets see what Giant Tuna can do. he is supposed to be all-world ... lets see what he\'s got for us.

From the Dolphins' standpoint, I agree it would be worth it to pick up another second round pick. But from other teams' perspective, there isn't that clear-cut prospect at the top of the draft. Chris Long is a solid prospect, but so is Vernon Gholston. Jake Long is very good, but is he worth the No. 1 pick? Is McFadden? Given his off-field incidents and running style (some think he won't be a bruiser), I don't think so.

There is no Reggie Bush, Vince Young, JaMarcus Russell, Adrian Peterson or Calvin Johnson this year. There isn't a prospect where teams want to give up multiple picks to jump all the way up to No. 1.

You don't think someone would offer their first and second round picks in the 8-15 range for the first overall? Would that be worth it to the Dolphins to pick up that extra second round pick?

The only problem JP, is that other teams don't want to trade up knowing the Dolphins want out of that spot. This isn't exactly a draft where there's four or five top prospects for teams to fight over. So teams are willing to wait to fill their needs...

Shouldn't they trade out of this spot and pick up another second rounder? Maybe grab John David Booty later on?
