We're 8-1 after losing to the Bears (sigh), but I tell you, we can do this thing. Whaddya say, Brett? Once more for the team?" Yeah, I think he would have to consider it. Favre has been such a gold mine for sports writers over the years, it seems like they just keep going back to the well. (scene interior – Lambeau Field. November 3, 2008. As a general fan, you get to the point of, "All right, do you want to retire or not? Because if you do - retire already so we can move on." But I also completely agree that Favre isn't the type to try and keep his name in the spotlight for as long as possible. He seems like a passionate guy and is driven on emotion, which plays into what you said about him having a hard time walking away from the game. I agree on both accounts.
