Each year, NFL teams try to lure Pete Carroll away from USC by offering him a boatload of money and complete control of their team. I don’t think this guy wants to leave USC - I think he may just dangle his name out there enough in the NFL to get some play. He is like an agent - for the future. I think he would be foolish to leave for the NFL.
Petey…stay at USC. You were never an NFL caliber coach. I know you want to leave because there are probably dozens more Reggie Bush situations that just haven’t been uncovered yet, but the NFL just isn’t for you.
